During my visit this week to Peaceful Pines Residence, I was truly impressed by the warm, welcoming environment. The space is bright, open, and thoughtfully designed, creating a cheerful and comforting atmosphere for residents. Most notable, however, was the staff—their kindness, patience, and genuine care were evident in every interaction. As many of our aging parents may one day require memory care, it is reassuring to know that compassionate, high-quality options like Peaceful Pines exist.

Perfect for my mom

The workers are great, the food is great, very very clean, activities are limited, its a small place and just right for my mom and her condition. She is not capable of doing much so activities are not important to her/us.

The Peaceful Pines Difference!

I cannot speak highly enough of the care and compassion I found at Peaceful Pines. I was drowning in a deeply stressful situation, urgently needing safe, caring place for my dad while out of state. My saving angel, [name removed], connected me to this incredible home.[name removed], the "glue," moved everything forward with incredible speed and empathy. Her constant communication, especially the invaluable accessibility via text for prompt replies, was a lifeline. She quickly coordinated his assessment, and he was soon receiving the exact, personalized care he needed.Peaceful Pines is not a facility; it truly feels like home. It is consistently clean, warm, and the staff treats every resident like family. My dad, a famously picky eater, loved the variety and quality of the meals! The environment is lively thanks to [name removed] and the fantastic activities team, who make it a priority to know the residents.Owners [name removed] and [name removed] are hands-on, ensuring resident happiness.

A great place for mom!

The staff at Peaceful Pines is always patient, compassionate, and attentive. They have an incredible nursing team who ensures all residents are taken care of. They also have various activities and PT/OT/ST there to ensure residents are moving optimally and have the best quality of life. Wouldn't send mom anywhere else ??

If you want genuine care for loved one please look elsewhere

The owner will tell you anything and everything you want to get paid. She talks a good game but truth is, you will see her (maybe) for your tour and payment and after that she barely shows her face in the building. The food is “home cooked” which means it’s most likely coming out of a can or box. For [fee removed] a month your loved one certainly is not getting the care they deserve. Shared bathrooms/ rooms are disgustingly dirty. Staff only changes sheets 1x per week. Staff shares grooming products between residents and NO ONE gets oral care. There is about 2 aides that work there that actually go above and beyond for the care of residents and they sadly are unappreciated. The activity ladies are amazing though, I must say.. they don’t get enough credit for what they do. They are the ones who interact most with the residents each day. Overall I would suggest saving your loved ones or you own hard earned money for somewhere they will actually get the care they deserve.

The staff is amazing. They treat my father as if he was their father. They're calm and patient. They realize and catch things. It was very quick getting my father in there, which was appreciated. I would recommend the facility very highly. I just wish it was cheaper.

A place for Mom that goes above and beyond.

Alcoeur Gardens in Aberdeen is absolutely amazing. They treat your parents like they would treat their grandparents. I couldn't ask for a better place for my dad. They go above what you would expect of a place that takes care of people with dementia and Alzheimer's. They do crafts. They watch TV. They really go the above and beyond. I'm so happy that A Place for Mom had me look at them.
