I knew from the minute I stepped foot in the facility and meant the staff, I knew it was where she needed to be. They are caring and genuine people. I knew she would be treated with the kindness and love that she needed. The facility was always clean and kept up. The staff all were friendly and attentive to her needs and ours. The skilled wonderful staff the very homey atmosphere and delicious meals were just what my mom needed. She was only there for seventeen months but, I know it was a good safe enjoyable time until she passed. I will continue to recommend Rosewood to anyone in need of care for a loved one. The rooms, though small are comfortable and visually appealing as is the entire facility. The dining room is a visual feast. I have had fun decorating mom’s room for the seasons. She loves the food. It seems it’s all homemade. Nothing is “prefab”. Many of the residents enjoy sitting at the counter watching meal prep. Mom does that with a cup of coffee. Communication between management and myself is excellent. I can text any time and get a rapid response. I see management most days when I visit. Mom loves the staff and so do I. I can tell they know and love her well. I have zero complaints and my standards are high. Since Grandma has been at Rosewood we've been able to get back to quality family time. There's always, things to do, holiday parties, the smell of a home cooked meal and a smile on Grandma's face. No longer being the caregivers put us back in good graces. The caregivers here love her like their own family. Also, the organization of Dr appointments, medicine, and communication behind the scenes from the staff makes us confident that no matter the challenges we face during the aging process, we are prepared.
