My dad recently transitioned from his home to Dorothy’s and it was a seamless, easy move given her home like atmosphere. The caregivers are all so sweet to my dad. The home is spotless clean and a very calm, relaxing environment. I would highly recommend Dorothy based on my dads experience.

Lots of opportunities for outdoor walking or riding in a wheelchair. Bird watching and viewing outdoors. The lanai has a calming peaceful view of the community pond. Often Sand Hill Cranes visit and sing near the back yard. Other birds visit too.

My husband's Mom has been a resident in several Assisted Living Facilities over the years, but Dorothy Cares Assisted Living is the best, by far; & our family couldn't be more grateful. From day one, the staff has shown a level of kindness and attentiveness that truly sets this home apart. Every team member treats the residents with respect, patience, and compassion. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the facility feels comfortable and home-like rather than clinical. My mother-in-law's needs are met, and she is surrounded by well-trained caregivers who are knowledgeable and experienced in caring for the elderly. Their communication with us excellent, and it's clear that the staff takes pride in creating a safe, supportive environment. My mother-in-law stayed at Dorothy Cares for a little over a year until her recent passing. She received the best care! She was always clean, the house never smelled bad, and she was tended to with great care and compassion. All the ladies on staff are awesome, patient, kind and caring. They have a very hard job but do it with excellence. I’m so glad we found Dorothy Cares!

I am so appreciative that I found this wonderful care home for my loved one. The house is well maintained, neat, and spotless. Every time I've visited the residents have looked clean and appropriately dressed. Most of the time they are busy playing games or involved in activities. They all seem to enjoy the home cooked meals. Most importantly, the carers are kind and concerned about the residents. I truly couldn't ask for anything more.

The staff at Dorothy Cares are so kind and caring. They served my mom for a year. They make great food. They read Bible stories and pray for the residents. They are very flexible with visiting times. They really make it feel like a home.

Recently I visited a friend who resides here. She was very happy ,as were the others I was able to meet. The home was very clean and the staff attentive, very comfortable surroundings. I have great peace in knowing my loved one is getting the level of care she enjoys and would not hesitate to recommend anyone needing assistance to Dorothy Cares!

I actually live very far away from my Mom, who I love so very much so the care Mom receives is hugely important, especially after she was moved here from a much larger assisted living facility. Mom resides in a caring home now, she smiles and is happy when I call. She doesn't just sit in her room all day!!! [name removed] herself, and all staff are very kind to me as well, with any concerns that I may have.

My mom moved here after a year at a large ALF. She had been depressed because of her decreased vision due to macular degeneration. She used to sit in her room in the dark crying. When I moved her to Dorothy's place, Dorothy took one-on-one time with my mom to reassure her that she was in a place where she was loved and would get lots of attention. In the large facility, my mom rarely participated in social activities. At Dorothy's, she participates in just about everything and the staff makes sure that she enjoys herself. I highly recommend this place!

My visit to Dorothy Cares was very pleasant. The facility was very clean and organized. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and spacious. The people staying there all seemed to be well taken care of and content. Dorothy is very kind and caring and makes you feel like you are a member of her family. See really cares and it shows.

My wife is suffering with Alzheimer’s disease and has been in eight different facilities in Pennsylvania and Florida. Dorthey Cares here in Florida is hands down the best place she has been. The staff to patient ratio is excellent at one to three. [name removed] clothes and body are kept clean and she receives weekly physical and occupational therapy, as well as frequent Doctor’s visits. I highly recommend this facility. They really do care.

Dorothy Cares is aptly named. [name removed]and her staff really do care and take very good care of my mother-in-law. And unlike many other ALF’s, Dorothy Cares does not have the telltale urine smell that larger ALF’s try to mask and the ratio of residents to staff cannot be beat. It is 3:1. The home is always clean and they cook fresh meals everyday. In addition my, MIL is clean, gets her correct medication, is regularly seen by the visiting physician, she has not fallen and gets the attention she needs. So glad we found this place.

Our experience with Dorothy Cares ALF has been incredible. From the moment we arrived, the facility’s welcoming, clean environment reassured us. What makes this place stand out is the outstanding care, especially from Dorothy. When another facility denied my mom’s stay, Dorothy went above and beyond to help. Her compassion and willingness to make things work during such a challenging time showed how deeply she cares for the residents and their families. The staff treats my mom with patience, respect, and kindness, always understanding her unique needs. They handle challenges with grace and create a family-like atmosphere. The facility is always immaculate, and the food is wonderful. They also offer special events that keep the residents active and happy. I’m truly grateful for Dorothy Cares and thank God for leading us here. It’s a huge relief knowing my mom is in such caring hands, and I couldn’t ask for better care.

It is always stressful and sad to need to have a loved one placed at an assisted living facility. When the time came, the owner helped me through each step of the way; it was such a blessing! The staff is extremely caring and loving, they do care and help him with love, enthusiasm and respect. The place is immaculately clean. The residents are safe, clean and well fed and they exercise and do several activities throughout the day. It is indeed a blessing!
