Infinite Care

I would rate all a 5 with the exception of #6 (4) as the Residents have had some complaints about their food either being too spicy at times or no seasoning. I know it's difficult to please everyone & with some having dietary restrictions. I do know they try their best to please everyone as best they can. With regard to cost - they are in line with what others charge in the area. I'm very pleased with the care my mom receives and the many activities available to her. Everyone is always very pleasant & accommodating.

My wife and I along with her mother took a tour of the facility. We will eventually be placing her mother in a facility when the time comes. Their sales director was very nice and answered all of our questions. The facility appeared to be very clean and well kept. We do not notice any odors that we have experienced on other facilities. Everyone was nice to us as we went through the facility. We were shown the different types of rooms as well as many activities that are available to everyone. This facility offers different programs that include assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and respite care.

What I like the most about the community is the overall friendliest and cleanest. I got a great apartment with a wonderful view.

The place is absolutely amazing. The building she's in is absolutely clean. She has her own beautiful apartment all the people that work. There are amazing her meals that she gets in the dining hall are unbelievable. She is just very very happy and so are me and my husband.

The facilities are all nice. The apartments are clean and it's nice that they each have their own lanai. I haven't eaten there but I've seen the salad bar and the meals that are served are on real plates, not like the last place. I think the only complaint she would have is not enough bingo and other activities to do.

I chose this facility because of the price and just from word of mouth in the community. They were very short staffed.

That although the facility is older. The residents in the Independent living are a very welcoming and tight knit community. It's been great for dad for this past year.

The staff are very attentive to clients and family members. I would recommend Hawthorne Inn of Lakeland to others who are searching for memory care for their loved ones.

Great communication. Very caring staff. Prompt replies to our inquiries. No issues contacting people. Staff caring and reassuring.

Amazing staff. They know the residents and they are always helpful if you have questions for them. They always have something fun going on. We thought it was an amazing place and didn't expect what they offered. Main area spotless. The memory Ward area was clean but odors. That might not can be helped on that side though .All staff was amazing from kitchen staff all the way through to the recreation specialist. [name removed] was our contact person from the beginning she was amazing to answer any questions we had and to set us on the right path as far as other things we haven't navigated yet. The care was top-notch they would call us if they thought something wasn't right or different and my father-in-law actually had to go to the hospital twice while he was there and they immediately contacted us and gave us all the information we needed. The only admin I think I really dealt with was [name removed] I'm not sure her position there but she was invaluable to the information she offered us not just in getting him into Hawthorne but along with how Medicaid and insurance and things like that worked. We never personally ate there but Dad loved to eat. He he would tell us that they feed him good. They have an assortment of foods to offer at every meal and really good desserts. As far as activities dad wouldn't participate in anything except dancing because he loved to dance. But they have all kinds of outings, shopping trips, out to lunch trips. Family activities, arts and crafts activities. One of the residents even brought me in her room to show me all the art she had made while she was there. She absolutely loved the place and that's another good thing is most all of the residents I met were super friendly as well. Value for the money. It was pricey I'm not sure in comparison to other places if it was or not I generally don't have a concept of what charges are for places around here. But as far as the money it is money well spent the care is excellent, they keep them busy and motivated. It's a great social place for them to meet friends. Family is always welcome. I just thought it was a great place and the money was worth it for his happiness and our piece of mind that he was safe

Excellent staff very attentive and always looking out for your best interest. Good accommodations and meal choices are available. Rooms are always clean. Laundry services are also available. OT, PT and speech therapy are available. In house doctor, podiatry services are also available. You can also use their pharmacy services.

The people and staff are friendly. Problems, broken washer, are dealt with. The food is not Cordone BLue (sp), my late wife was, but the choice is varied and the prep, including in a hurricane, good. Not sorry I moved here.

All good except food and wait staff shortage. Clients are leaving the facility because of the lack of food quality and inadequate staffing in the dining room.

There's a few things that could be improved but not anything important...no place is perfect

Big changes have taken place there and it’s a joy to see how happy the residents are and how welcoming and friendly the employees are!! I hear families compliment them often and they are happy too. Great job!!

The entire Brookdale team treats my parents like family. My parents are comfortable, safe and happy! My siblings and I now know that our parents have the attention they need to enjoy their later years.

We visited the assisted living facility first, after speaking with the director there a while, she assessed our situation and suggested we go and see their Independent Living Facility. We didn’t know about this type of senior living. We met with [name removed] there, she stayed late for us. Great experience! and very helpful. After reviewing other places online, I decided they couldn’t live up to Hawthorne Inn. We cannot move in just yet but we will in the near future.

I am currently looking for a place for my mother. I was so impressed how [name removed] Took the time to explain all the amenities. It was not a high pressure force me to commit. My mom will be living there when we move her to Florida at the end of the year.

Based on the experience we have had so far, we have to say that we all have been treated with kindness and respect. We would recommend Brookdale Palmer Ranch community to other families who are looking for a place for their loved ones.
