The moment I walked in someone was there to greet me. [removed name] was friendly and answered all my questions. During the tour I noticed that the place is clean and organized. The dining rooms are nice and the food is delicious. I recommend anyone looking for assisted living for themselves or loved ones to tour SG to see what they have to offer.

The staff there are wonderful. They are very helpful, supportive and friendly. My mom loves her space and so do my sister and I. It's just the right amount of space for her. We know that she's safe but my mom still feels like she has some independence. There are a variety of activities daily for my mom to participate in and she participates in them regularly and has made new friends and become social again. My mom likes that she has choices for each meal and can choose what she likes to eat. It has been a great experience from the tour to the move in. It's obvious that everyone has been trained to work with residents with dementia. They are all kind and patient.

We needed a place for a friends widow for a short term stay until arrangements could be made to get her back to the Philippines. We were very pleased with Shelby Gardens that worked with us to get her placed quickly

The staff were very nice and helpful. I was very comfortable there. Every question I had was answered immediately with no confusion. It was also very clean. I will most definitely be visiting again soon!

With the exception of great staff members with a positive attitude, each day brings a different atmosphere. It’s also has a nice love warming employees/caretakers, guiding, helping. I truly appreciate this place.

The memory care facility is well designed and clean. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Feels more homey than institutional. Residents are well cared for and treated with respect.

We have just gotten home after visiting with my father for Family Night at Shelby Gardens Place. The staff was so friendly and attentive and the dinner was just lovely. We are so grateful for the staff and residents who have been so kind and take such good care of our dad.

This has been a wonderful place for my aunt to recover from a broken hip. Thank you for all the work from the therapy department, the cooks, the cleaning crew, the nurses, and the office staff and management for keeping her involved with daily planned activities and monthly field trips… God bless the hands that work in this field!

My mom moved to Shelby Gardens Assisted Living in the [date removed] after a fall. She later moved in the [date removed] to the memory care side. On both the assisted living and memory care sides, the care givers are so patient and kind. They treat mom with dignity and respect. I don’t worry about her, because I know she is in good hands with the attentive staff. I think we made a great choice when we moved mom to her place at Shelby Gardens.

I recently visited the facility for a friends and family event. The staff and the facility were exceptional, especially the customer service. All residents and families looked happy during my time at the facility.

Shelby Gardens’ atmosphere makes my mom feel like she’s really home. The facility is welcoming with a friendly staff and care for the residents. The staff makes sure residents are comfortable. The nursing staff is knowledgeable and caring. The facility itself is really nice and clean. Every effort is made to make the residents feel like this is their permanent home.

The staff is friendly and kind. They are quick to respond to concerns and tentative to the resident’s needs. A little more effort and care should be put into the menu and food preparation. This is the only complaint my mother has about this establishment.

Shelby Gardens provides all the services you wish you had at home. They are attentive to the residents and they provide great activities so they can interact with each other. The place is kept clean. The food is also good. It's nice that services like PT are provided on site. Great residence!

This is a nice facility. The workers seem to really care about their residents. The attendance recognize you when you come through the door. Everyone is so friendly. My stepfather is happy here and his needs are met. The Thanksgiving family dinner event is very nice.

This facility is very nice. The workers are like family and treat my family member with the up most respect and care. Management is amazing to work with as well. There are several activities for the residents.

My mom has been with Shelby Gardens for 2 years. She is losing her sight and I had to find a team to help. The team has taken care of her and dealt her particulars. Overall she is happy. Thank you!!!!

Shelby Gardens is a wonderful place that really cares about their residents. They listen to the families' concerns and take appropriate action. We have been here almost two years and I'm so grateful I found this place.

I recently tour the facility for my father and Mother. The facility was so clean, well kept and smelled so good… The staff were friendly and welcoming. The gentleman showing us the facility was very informative. I definitely will be considering this location for my parents. I think this will be a perfect fit for them and the staff would definitely make him feel at home.

Was so impressed with how clean the facility were. The staff was amazing and friendly. Residents was very up to part and clean. They are being well taken care of. They treat the residents very well. Highly recommended.

My daddy lives in the memory care unit, and the people here are wonderful and treat him with so much love! The food is great and there are lots of activities for the residents. The grounds are nice and they bring in entertainment each week!
