It has been a very positive experience. She had a couple issues when she first moved in-weekly cleaning wasn't being done unless asked to do it, laundry was only done when asked-both services were part of the mthly rent. Staff has been great, a lot of turnover in the last year but everyone has been really nice. Her quality of care was excellent-figured out what was the problem and got her better. The food is not great but the administration has been meeting with the residents to discuss. Mom just isn't much of an activity person. They do offer-she just doesn't participate. As her care has lessened they have adjusted her monthly amount but it is still very expensive for what she is receiving. There were and still are ongoing issues. Staff turnover and lack of staff being a big factor. The ownership has changed and the residents have all felt the pains of that.

Review for Allegria at the Fountains
Very, very happy with the Fountains. I hear not so good stories from friends of mine, regarding their parents, at other facilities. The Fountains calls for everything, and confirms everything with me- they also know I didn't "plop and drop", which many do- sadly. The community is welcoming, kind and stable for mom's needs. Very happy with how she is taken care of- I am always on them as well, and they reciprocate back with my requests of always wanting to know.

The best road for mom from a horrible circumstance
My mother is a severe bipolar patient on top of dementia. What my mother was before she came here was as shell of a human being. When she got here, she changed so much. She loves it and does not want to go home anymore and that says so much. Between the nurses and [name removed] (the on call psychiatrist), they are phenomenal. They call me with any updates or medical changes. The communication between nurses for everything is fabulous. She has the same nurse in the morning and in the evenings and that consistency has been great. They have so many amazing amenities provided and my mom is constantly having her mind stimulated each and every day. They are willing to work with you, the value is better than anything that I saw. [name removed] the director is beyond outstanding. It has completely turned my mother around. I would recommend Allegria at the Fountains in a heart beat.

Caring Community
They seem to care and worked with mom with meds and helping w aggression. Could be better with Activities and helping with hygiene. It's very expensive and extras add up. But she's safe and we visit all the time.

Everything has been wonderful for the most part, there are some things as with any facilities that can or could use some improvements. Staff is caring, wonderful and very compassionate. They seem to to truly care for each and every resident at the Allegria at the Fountains. Very pleased overall with everything they have to offer for our loved ones stay.

Residents are friendly and sociable. All staff are attentive to basic needs and respond to inquires as soon as possible. Dining room is clean, however, food selection is mediocre to moderate. Daily activities and a weekly social hour invite residents to gather as a group.

The right place at the right time for my loved one.
I like Allegria at the Fountains a lot. It's very people-oriented. My sister was very well received and has enjoyed it there. She feels it's the perfect place for her. She's made a lot of friends and is very involved in the activities. It's a good value, relatively speaking. It's expensive but I think it's well worth it for everything they offer.

Dissatisfied
I don't think we've gotten what we were promised. The food is horrible. They say they serve two meals a day, one of which is a continental breakfast, which doesn't really qualify as a meal. Especially with what they serve. Anything other than cereal you have to pay for, which is not good. But the apartment is nice, and I'm happy with it. Maintenance comes pretty quickly to take care of things. The staff is friendly. And they have a lot of activities.

highly recommend
We wish we were living here, all of our family that comes to visit just think its absolutely wonderful. Our loved one says the food at times can be a hit or miss but they did just hire a new culinary director so we are hoping that improves. They have so many different activities from board games, to social events and live entertainment. There is stuff going on maybe once, twice or even three times a day.

Not very much regard for health and safety
My mother has been a resident at he Fountains for over a year. From the time she moved in, there have been issues with the internet connection. It is a wifi facility and there is weak to no signal in her unit. She is not the only resident with the problem. She uses online prescription ordering , needs access to her medical records and test results, needs to make doctors appointments and get emails. Not to mention, the isolation seniors feel when they cannot connect with family and friends. She was recently told to leave her apartment and walk down the hallway if she wants to get a connection. WHAT??? She pays for the internet as part of her monthly rent. I do not recommend this facility or any of the others in this group. It is not my mothers, or any other residents responsibility to shoulder their infrastructure issues. The sheer callous disregard for making sure their residents have access to important healthcare needs via the internet is appalling.

Nice Place
We were quite impressed by the placement process. Everyone was responsive and caring. The meals have not been as good lately (food lukewarm, out of certain items) but we know there are work shortages etc. Dad is very content and has people around now. His physical therapy has helped a lot!

Positive experience
We chose Allegria at the Fountains because of the close location, they are upgrading it, and the size of the apartments. He is also able to stay here as he declines in health because they offer assisted living and memory care as well. The quality of the meals have gone down a little bit in the last month just due to staffing. But the first whole month he was here he said it was amazing. [name removed] in the front office has been great, I can text her whenever and she goes above and beyond. I would recommend them to others looking.

Great place for mom and dad
We are so happy with our choice and so are my parents. Whenever we go it is always clean, they are currently working on some updates to the facility. Every staff member is so wonderful and friendly. They are adding church back into the activities, they have been doing all that they can with everything that has been going on, but it is slowly getting back normal. I would highly recommend to others looking.

Lack of Staff
My 94 year old mother has been at Allegria for a year. When visitors were finally allowed in visit I could see the conditions and lack of staff personally. The skilled nursing section needs major updates to their rooms. One pet peeve is that most residents are using wheel chairs. They cannot reach the bathroom sink to rinse out their mouths because the sinks are too high. Also, the Director and the Head of Nursing do not answer emails regarding complaints regarding the care of residents. Also, some nurses and aides are not vaccinated and Covid is now in this facility again and is closed to visitors because a nurse tested positive for Covid. So here we go again on lockdown and lack of staff. Also, with lack of staff, I pressed the call bell for assistance and after an hour of waiting I went to the nurse and asked for help!!!!! I could go on but little space to write all my concerns.

It is a good place. The community has a wide variety of activities for the residents, and amenities. The staff are good to work with. The food is being delivered to the resident's rooms due to the dining room being renovated and the taste is good. There is one meal a day provide, and three meals in the cafeteria normally.

If I could give 0 Stars I would!!
We thought we were doing the best thing for our parents when we sold their house and moved them into this place in 2019. However, little did we know that they SUCK at communication and almost everything else under the sun!! The reason for so many names, is because they keep getting bought out by different people! That says ALOT!! They are constantly screaming that they are understaffed, yet when you walk in now, all you see is glitz and glam!! Gee I wonder where all that money is coming from? Maybe hire more staff instead of more couches and throw pillows! Both of our parents, have died since being in this God forsaken place and it is absolutely due to the poor care and attention that was given to their health and well being. So much, that we needed to hire outside help for them!! And when they passed away, not one of these caretakers even bothered to reach out to us or pay their respects to our family! If you decide to put your loved one in this facility, you better think twice,

Our experience with Allegria
We chose Allegria at the time mainly because of the location. They do seem to be understaffed quite often and the care has not been the best because of that so they could use improvement there, but they are not shy to tell you that that is the reason. They said they are working on trying to get more in house employees. The administrative staff and head nurses are all helpful and really trying to make an effort to better things.

Wonderful Staff and Great Community
It is a beautiful community. Everyone here is great. The only thing I am concerned is that they have an open door policy, and I'm not used to that. Everyone is in the open dining room now. The staff is fabulous. The food is good. I like everyone here and what they have to offer.
