I was very impressed with how clean and friendly it was. I live in Missouri, so I never had a chance to visit while my mother was in residence there. At first reports were encouraging regarding her participation in activities and meals. Problems soon arose regarding her resistance to cooperating with her caretakers. Azalea management informed us that they did not have adequate staff to give my mother the care she needed, and they told us we needed to take her out. We were very disappointed because they had led us to believe that, once she was a resident there, they would give her everything she needed up until she passed away.
