Boden Senior Living review
My sister's says the food is okay, but at present, there is not enough staff to serve. They are working on hiring more servers. The pricing was good until a recent monthly increase. I'm not very happy about it. My sister also says she loves the one level living. We would both recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

would not recommend
End of life care was horrible experience. Unethical conduct by some staff. Multiple times medications were found on father's floor. Failed to fully observe him taking medications. The staff did not follow through with bathing requirements and my father suffered nasty yeast infection, I had to treat.

Great place
My mom has been at Boden Senior Living for almost a year, and we are very pleased with them. The food service is great. The cleanliness is terrific. All the staff are kind, courteous, and very helpful. The medical team is always watching and aware of how the residents are doing. The Activities Director makes sure that there are many activities to do during the week and outings almost every week, which keeps the residents connected to the community. I’d recommend looking into Boden Senior Living for anyone who wants a great experience.

I have lived in the Twin Cities for 20 years and i work in Hospice. I have been in too many facilities to count taking care of people and having to work with staff.
Boden Senior Living is by far one of the Very Best facilities i have every had to privilege to wotk with and take care of my pts.
I love them,i love the way they honor and give high quality care to the residents living there. The staff are wonderful, they have a huge heart. As soon as you walk in you know this place is different. They care!

Modern faculty with excellent sized rooms. Seems like staff to resident ratio could be higher. Communication with staff ok and some delay on their response to emails, ehich is less than 2 days on time sensitive questions and I've only had few requests for information.

Unsafe, added charges, poor nursing supervisor
We were appalled at the lack of follow through with requests, poor adherence to COVID Guidelines, nurses being dishonest to cover their tracks, poor food quality to name a few.
[name removed] was wonderful, some of their aides are excellent but a few are also mean & terrible with the residents. Cost went up every 1-2 months . Dad was able to escape easily from memory care & staff did not even know he was gone.

Don't Assume
I would advise that their loved one be very alert and mostly able to take care of themselves. And that the friend or family member plan to check in often on the loved one to be sure that they are being cared for properly. To always follow up on the service being offered.

Like PRISON
My dear 82 yr old friend is in this hellhole and they dont even have a diagnosis yet. They have LOCKED HIM IN HIS "room/cell" so he feels trapped in jail. The nurses are VERY RUDE. I call my friend daily to cheer him up and see how he is doing. A nurse whose name I had never heard called me yesterday and threatened to file a Police Report due to my daily check in calls to my friend. Here is what I am reporting: #1 I am not even in their state nor jurisdiction. #2 I care about my friend very very much. My love for him as a father figure is very established. He calls me family as do I call him.
#3 I'm not after his money But I am trying to protect him. We have talked financials often. With my 8 years of experience as a Money Manager/ Stockbrocker at Smith Barney in Ventura, CA. I DONT NEED MONEY. I NEED My Friend TO BE SAFE AND HAPPY. His niece filed a complaint to his [profanity removed] NURSE which is entirely frivolous, unmerited & baseless. After 18 days of forced isolation he wants to go home.
