Living at Chesapeake Bay
We were the 4th residents to move into Chesapeake Bay. This was before Phase One was even complete. It is a conveniently placed property with easy access to highways and freeways. We love the look of the property as well. Would definitely recommend it (and have) to others looking for this style of living. The residents here are super friendly and help to make it a fun place to live. There are activities for all who are interested in participating - at whatever level of participation you are interested in doing. Currently the Cafe is not up and running, but we are told it will be back open yet this year. When it was running, it was always fun to meet neighbors for a quick dinner without having to get out and travel.

Great Place to live
Great place to live, relax and have fun. Wonderful neighbors and facilities to enjoy. The Villa’s are exceptional. It is a beautiful safe place to live relax and enjoy. Friday nite activities in the clubhouse are fun and entertaining. Please come and enjoy.

Enjoying my residency
After visiting approximately 10 other facilities when my husband died, my daughters took one look at Chesapeake Bay and told me this was they wanted me to live. The staff was very congenial and helpful in getting me settled. There are lots of self-generated activities (generated by current residents) for you to participate in if you so desire.

I cannot say enough about this property and have been a resident here for three years. For those suddenly alone after selling their home, it is difficult to find an apartment facility which offers as much comfort and security as Chesapeake Bay offers.

Best place for seniors

I LOVE IT HERE !!!
I'm 68 and was looking for a place where I felt safe and was around people close to my age. I had passed by Chesapeake Bay several times and thought it looked like a nice place to live.
Before moving here, I owned a home, then decided to downsize and move to a condominium. They had no garages or carports, and the parking space for my condo was quite a distance down an uneven sidewalk with cracks (a fall risk) to my door.
Before I moved to Chesapeake, I met the sweetest lady in the apartment lobby and she and I have grown to be close friends. She introduced me to others, and I met so many people I had a difficult time keeping up with their names.
My new friend invited me to play Dominoes on Tuesday evenings and later I was asked if I would like to play Canasta on Thursday nights. Before I knew it, my calendar was quickly filling up with really enjoyable activities.
I used to stay at home and didn't socialize at all, but I'm happy to say that's all in the past.

Happy to call Chesapeake Bay HOME
Retirement at it's finest. We have found great friendships at Chesapeake Bay. There isn't the stress and expense of maintenance or landscaping that we had while living in our house. The maintenance team takes care of it. Management is friendly and strives to assist in every way they can. We have great amenities available, and we can be as active or inactive as we want. The location is perfect - we are close to restaurants, shopping, doctors, and entertainment. We love it here.

Great Place for Seniors to live
Hello
I have lived at Chesapeake Bay for 14 months. I lived across the street for 5 years and watched the place being built. In May 2023 my husband and I finally moved here. We were both 75 years sold and wanted to be with people our own age and life style. We have not had a change of mine since the move. We are in a Villa 2 bedroom with six apartments. There are 4 2 bedrooms and 2 one bedrooms in our unit. All the units have a garage attached.
They have great Maintenace here for any issue with the apartment. All amenities are modern and easy to care. All our needs are taken care of. We also enjoy the activities here to include Bingo and the getting together with others in our age group. The Management staff are very helpful.
I just want you to know If I could not live here I really would not be as happy as we are,

Parents Love Chesapeake Bay
My parents have enjoyed living at Chesapeake Bay for the past 5 years! They arrived not knowing anyone, but have made truly wonderful friends through participating in the many activities offered onsite. They have also enjoyed going on planned outside activities. The office staff is very friendly and is always on-hand to help with any questions.
My parents and their friends agree that they wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!

Safe and secure.
As a very recent widow I feel very safe and secure here. My neighbors are wonderful always checking on me. All the staff here management and maintenance treat you with great respect and are always ready to help. This is my home where my family know I’m safe.

A community, not just a place.
We've been a part of Chesapeake for 2 years. It truly is a place where the residents care about each other. The physical building is comfortable, well appointed and something for everyone. Activities abound, catering to socialization, needs and fellowship. Most residents find this a place where they will stay as long as they remain active. It's for couples as well as singles. Nothing like it in this area.

Hoping thing improve
New owners are focusing on facility updates that can be advertised and in the entrance area while not cleaning the carpets in the halls, the elevator floors, the windows and doors on the upper floors and back halls where we live. Hall air conditioning units continue to be an issue. Doors are suppose to have security looks, but several do not work and have never worked. There are no automatic door openers to assist handicap individuals. Having said all of that, the residents are wonder.

Just moving mom in
So far they have been great in helping us navigate this next chapter of my mom’s life as a widow and on her own. When she and her support dog did a tour my mom was already taking with residents (what she has been needing- friends) and all the staff was already getting to know her name and recognizing her!

We love living at Chesapeake Bay. The property is beautiful, well maintained, quiet and peaceful. There are many opportunities for social gatherings and activities and the staff is very accommodating. We have lived at Chesapeake Bay for over two years, and it has been a pleasure to come home each night to our apartment.
