My Mom has been there for a month and it’s been a blessing to have found them. The owner, management & staff are always available when needed. Overall, it’s a great team at Cutler Bay Village. They provide a loving safe environment for the residents!

At Cutler Bay Village of Miami, Florida, seniors receive daily care in an assisted living community from a professional and active staff. The front desk person literally hung up on me after saying she doesn’t speak english. I’ve lived in Miami my whole life and have never had that happen. This was my first call to inquire for my mom. Non Spanish speaking clients could not live comfortably in this environment.

First of all , there are no gardens, NO pools and no transportation to go shopping. Is a 2-story building and no one is allowed to go out!. My mother is like in a prison. It is more like a nursing home than an ALF. Most residents seem to have dementia. They all seat around all day wrapped in blankets. It is very depressing. I am so sorry I placed my mother there. The owner, (who is not a very nice person), sent her to the hospital because he said she was confused. When she was discharged after 2 days, he refused to let her back till the next day. My mother is not confused. I am taking her out at the end of the month. Do not bring your loved one here.

During our loved ones stay of [dates removed] we were very happy with our experience. The owner [name removed] was very thorough and detailed with things they do and how things are ran. During the covid spikes and lockdowns he was very honest and straight forward with the families. This especially helped make our transition much easier especially from coming out of state. If we had to do it all over again we would pick Cutler Bay. It is very affordable - not the lowest but not the highest. The staff are great.

I liked the cleanliness. And I liked the staff. The caretakers were really nice. But they don't separate memory care residents from the general population, and that was not a good experience for my loved one. She hated the food, but then she used to cook herself all the time. However, I saw the food, and at night they often provided just a bowl of soup and a slice of bread, with no other options offered. I think they could have done more things with the residents. There were no activities, and I think they kind of used Covid as an excuse for that. Even with Covid, they definitely could have made things a bit more entertaining for the residents. They also were not clear about billing and stuck me with a large charge at the time that we moved out. Our experience could have been much better than what it is. I would not recommend Cutler Bay Village to others.

The community at Cutler Bay Village is an older community but it is very well maintained. It was very clean throughout. The staff were very gracious and knowledgeable. They did a great job addressing all of my concerns. They were very supportive with this difficult decision. The community was a little farther away from family than what we were looking for.

Cutlet Bay ALF has a homey atmosphere. The employees are all caring professionals with great bedside manner. My Mom, with some dementia, adjusted quickly. She is well cared for and safe. The facility itself is very clean and cheery. I would highly recommend this facility.

The owner Jose Duasso extended himself by expediting finding a room for my 89 yr old mom. Jose is available by text and phone in a forthwith way and also makes contact with Mom almost daily. Mickey, the manager is really the " glue" for this community and is also available.

Great facility. Set up encourages resideny interaction. Administrator is very knowledgable, courteous and professional. Residents are well cared for and appear content. I would highly recommend.

Awesome, personable place. good size room but shared bath with one other room. Liked that they were very welcoming to us coming for a tour at a moments notice. Happy residents. 24 hour staff but no locked gates. Not one violation on file with FL state. :-)

I helped a friend locate this facility, and from everything I have heard from him they do a great job. The owner is a very nice person, and very concerned about the well-being of the people who live here. The food they serve here is well made and balanced, and the facility itself is always very clean and well kept. I would recommend it highly, it is a very nice place!
