About the facility Garden Villa
Garden Villa is serving individuals that desire a social environment in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by lush shady grounds, completely safe and secure. It's a spacious sprawling home that provides comfort, a caring staff and a registered nurse as the owner and administrator. We are located within 10 minutes of 3 major Medical Centers of town. Home is located on one acre of land in a cul-de-sac giving lots of sunshine, natural shade of mature trees and open space for taking walks in a park like setting with plenty of seating (benches, chairs, patio furniture).
we have assistant administrator/activity director and a care giver 24 hours/day who have been professionally trained, finger printed with DOJ. Our staff is very kind, experienced, and aware of specific needs of elderly population such as nutrition, hydration, mobility, incontinence, skin issues, behavioral and social issues.
We prepare nutritional, healthy homemade meals served in a family style environment. We develop a service plan based on the specific needs of residents &manage their health and wellbeing

highly recommend for assisted living, not memory care
1 - overall : If all you need is a little help, assisted living? They are great! Love the property and size! They are there to help. .... A full blown 24 hrs memory care facility they are not. They do not have staff awake 24 hrs, and wanted to charge me more because mom was getting worse and keeping their night shift awake.
2 - cleanliness : The facility was pretty clean, except for my mom's room. They struggled with dealing with my mom's incontinence.
3 - friendliness : They were all very friendly, especially [name removed].
4 - quality of care : As I stated earlier, they are great if all you need is a little help. I would definitely recommend them for assisted living, but not for memory care.
5 - Admin staff : The staff was always friendly
6 - food : They struggled to meet my mom's dietary restrictions, even with several reminders.
7 - activities : They didn't have any. A few holidays they would bring someone in for a couple hours for entertainment.
8 - value : 3. As long as all you need is assisted living, the value was good. Need more? Not so much...
Overall I would Higley recommend them for assisted living. Preety was incredibly kind. Their staff is ill-equipped to handle true 24 hr memory care

I Am Truly Amazed With How Much Better It Is
My mom is great, since moving in she is walking and has a better attitude. The community had home health build her strength. We are happy she is in this community. They have great caretakers who are lovely people and they are attentive to all her needs and I can tell they love what they do, showing that they care with their hearts. They shower her daily, that is more than the last place she was at. They are going above and beyond for her. I am thrilled she is getting more attention and she is never alone. The breakfast is fabulous and she enjoys all the meals. It is immaculately clean with no odors and the main reason we moved in.

Large place with six single rooms all...
Large place with six single rooms all every large. Staff one CNA and others could be brought in if needed. They will manage meds and do laundry and we supply Depends. Nice patio outside. This is a large lot in a subdivision at the end do a culdasac. House was clean and residents seemed happy. We were ther at dinner which smelled good and upon asking the residents if it was good, was givena thumbs up by all. Most residents seemed with it, did outlook to be any problems. They did have one resident who was on hospice care. Assistance will be given on bathroom and bathing. Toured this home Thursday April 11,2013.
