The staff is lovely, they have plenty of nice activities, holiday parties, etc. the one bedroom apartment is the perfect size. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

It’s settled on a lovely green lot and is conveniently close to health centers and hospitals. The city of Southampton, Pennsylvania, offers plenty of amenities for Holland Village’s residents including parks for light exercise and restaurants for social outings. Within the retirement community, all residents can take advantage of rehabilitation services and a monthly calendar of activities for all levels of care.
Holland Village is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC). They offer a continuum of senior living services, from independent living to skilled nursing care. Their independent living services provide residents with a maintenance-free lifestyle and the freedom to enjoy their retirement. Personal care services are also available for residents who need assistance for safety reasons but still desire some independence.

Our tour representative was very knowledgeable about the facilities. First stop was in the office where the rep. explained and shared a brochure which had the answer to many questions we had. They explained in depth the financial obligations and answered questions we had regarding the community. We were very satisfied with the answers. We then took a tour of the apartments; there were two styles, open kitchen and galley kitchen. Open kitchen was exactly what I wanted. It was explained that the range, refrigerator, washer and dryer, and floor, would all be replaced before we moved in. We then toured the common areas, movie theater, dining area, activity room, etc. I was interested in seeing the pool, however it was being repaired. Although I enjoyed the facilities, I wanted to see people. We were invited back to have dinner when residents are around & see the pool. Although I'm still looking, so far Holland Village is at the top of my consideration.

Me and my husband really liked Holland House the cottage we saw was beautiful. We are still looking ar other places and then we will make our final decision.

I give them a five stars all around. The staff is friendly in the dining room. The residents are friendly everybody that works there is very helpful -overall it was a great experience. She's very happy living there.

My immediate response was that the facility looked tired on the outside. However, inside was very clean and bright. The staff we met were very helpful, professional, and friendly. As this was my first visit to a facility of this nature, I don’t have a yardstick to judge it against so please accept this review based on that.

I can easily give Holland Village top scores (5) on everything. My loved one is always saying how happy he is to have moved there. The people (both staff and residents) have been so welcoming. A great choice for us so I would happily recommend it. He is pleased with the doctor there and the nursing staff. He is diabetic and they have been great.

Two of the front desk staff are no longer employed at Holland Village and the place is hurting because of it. The apartment size and location of the community are very good. I wish they would make the front desk more welcoming again for both residents and visitors.

Visited and viewed one model apartment, which we thought was a bit too small for two of us. Will be returning to view Cottage alternative and look at model apartment which my wife's mother lived in when she first entered [community removed] ~30 years ago.

Understaffed. New management changeover and not notified. When calling "cell" number listed in voicemail, it is directed to a different person entirely. Cleanliness has recently been an issue.

Holland Village is a beautiful facility very well maintained. The Independent Living section is very nice. The staff there are very good and make great efforts to entertain the residents and enhance their quality of life. Special mention should be made to Director [name removed] who is very involved and interactive with residents and families. In addition special mention to Deb Genco from Sales/Marketing for her continuous commitment to the residents both new and long term.

Most staff and other residents are very friendly. My apartment is good-sized for my wife and me. We're in independent living, so much of what we have needed so far has come with a fee--transport to medical appointments, someone to stay with my wife when I have to go out, an upgrade from Dish Network tv to Comcast tv.

The staff and residents made it so welcoming upon arrival. The activities and dining hall are a great social avenue. We got a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment and it's perfect for what they need. Great size. It has a fireplace, dining room, full kitchen, outdoor patio. Beautiful. Amenities are fine for us. They couldn't possibly do it all. But nice to have so many different options.

The employees at Holland Rehab Center treat their patients with kindness and respect. Everyone I have met there is consistently helpful in caring for my 93 year old mother. We value their service and the past five years has been a lot less stressful because of their quality care.

My mother has resided in the Assisted Living community at Holland Village since about [date removed] My overall experience with the Personal care Unit has been quite positive. I realize there are many challenges in staffing a Retirement Community to care for its elderly residents in this day and age but overall I think Holland Village steps up to provide commendable services in most all areas. If I were to mention my concerns it would be to make visitors feel a bit more welcomed upon entering the Personal Care Lobby. This is not always the case. And from the perspective of a family member with a parent living in Personal Care it would be helpful to have some sort of personnel guide available so I know which staff member to contact when questions come up about my mothers heath and overall well being. My mom was very sick upon arrival and got much worse. She ended up leaving in distress because her oxygen level was very low, and she was in a-fib. Holland Village refused to refund the extremely large deposit despite only being there four days. She paid over [fee removed]. I personally believe they misled me right from the beginning on being able to care for my Mom. The only person I commend us the nurse who called the ER.

The sales staff is great and answered every question we had. The staff in general are excellent and very friendly. It's a very welcoming community. The on-site medical and physical therapy services are very convenient. The maintenance staff is outstanding and very responsive. I think the gym and the pool could be updated. And some of the common areas could be better landscaped for a better view. There have also been some challenges due to Covid. The dining room has closed periodically, and the takeout/brown bag options are not good. But when the dining room is open, the food is good. Also when not limited by Covid, the activities are excellent. It's expensive, but overall I think it's worth it.
