Great experience
My cousin was recently placed in this home for end of life care. Being a healthcare provider for forty years I am very particular about care of my family. [name removed] cared for her better than I could have imagined. The home was clean and my cousin was always clean and her room was cheerful. The other resident's I observed appeared happy and well cared for. I believe there was no better place for a loved one to be taken for care. Many thanks to [name removed] and caregivers for the excellent care
About the facility Home Away from Home
The Villas of Summerfield is an independent living facility in the hills south and west of Syracuse, NY. This facility has much to offer the senior citizen who has worked hard all their lives. At this time in their lives, the villas will grant them an opportunity to relax and enjoy life. During their stay, senior citizens will be issued their own apartments. The facility has one bedroom, one bathroom and two bedroom and two bathroom suites. We pride ourselves in offering various amenities like laundry, fitness and postal services. Transportation is available for those who need to go to the doctor's office, attend religious services and/or other outside social activity. The Villas of Summerfield gives senior citizens an opportunity for socialization through the game room, library and the community room. If the resident wishes solitude or with a companion, the facility is known for its access for paths that are surrounded by a bucolic setting. We are known for our restaurant dining. Truly a Home Away From Home
Our mother is in good hands at Home Away From Home. Between the kind care and great cooking, my severely underweight mother has gained five pounds--yay! We have full peace of mind that our mother is in the best of care.
