About
Krista Care

Krista Care is a home care agency based in Arcadia, California, serving Arcadia and the surrounding areas. As this is a home care provider, caregivers are sent directly to clients to assist them with a wide range of needs, instead of clients coming to a facility. Clients appreciate the ability to receive care from their own homes, and the caregivers at Krista Care are trained to deliver their services with professionalism and excellence. All caregivers are fully vetted and trained and continue their dedication to excellence through ongoing training and regular performance assessments.

Clients begin their journey with Krista Care with a session with a coordinator, who determines the type and amount of care needed. This coordinator then matches the client with their caregiver or caregivers based on their needs and personality. Caregivers at Krista Care are able to accommodate a variety of nonmedical needs. These needs can be simple, such as wanting someone to help with meal preparation a few days a week, having a conversation partner, or needing assistance with medication reminders, to more complex, like incontinence care and memory care. Caregivers can also be on hand to help out with the unique needs during or after a hospital...

The caregiver came did not hear her knock on door. Called agency they said she would come back next week. I called to see where she was today they told me I was charged last week! I told the office they rescheduled they told me no. So they lied to me!!

Response from Krista Care
October 23, 2023
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent experience with our caregiver service. We sincerely apologize for any confusion and frustration this situation may have caused you. To clarify our policy, as per your insurance guidelines, if our caregiver arrives at the client's home and does not receive a response, they are required to wait for 30 minutes before leaving. This is done to give the client ample time to respond in case they are unable to do so immediately. According to your insurance guidelines, such a visit is considered valid and will be deducted from the total number of visits allotted. We understand that this policy may not have been clearly communicated to you, and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We value your business and strive to provide the best possible service. To prevent any similar issues in the future, we advise you to familiarize yourself with your insurance guidelines regarding caregiver visits. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our office. We are here to assist you and ensure that you have a positive experience with our services.

Tips for evaluating your community options

Safety is a primary concern when seniors and their families look for Home Care. To ensure that a community meets your needs and expectations, we recommend that seniors and family members:

  • Confirm the availability of required services: Before you commit, make sure that the community offers all the services your senior needs, and that those services can be provided within your budget.

  • Tour the location: Touring allows you to speak to current residents and staff, and helps you confirm the accuracy of the community description and photos. Use our touring checklist to help guide your visit.

  • Know the California regulations for Home Care: Each state has its own laws and inspections processes to ensure seniors reside in a safe environment. Depending on your state, you may even be able to look up inspection reports for the community(ies) you’re considering. Learn more about California regulations for Home Care.

Frequently Asked Questions
about Krista Care

A Place for Mom has scored Krista Care 7.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
