About the facility Lake Sherwood Village Retirement Community
Lake Sherwood Village Retirement Community is one of the best independent living communities with age-in-place care in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Located in a residential and commercial neighborhood with access to East Baton Rouge, Ascension, and Livington Parishes, this large complex has a happy atmosphere all its own. Lake Sherwood is right next to the facilities, and many of the private apartments have lovely lake views. Families and loved ones can choose from a variety of floor plans, from studio to two-bedroom options. All apartments are private and have a full kitchen and a bay window.
While it's technically an independent living community, Lake Sherwood Village partners with an on-site branch of Audubon Health Services to provide age-in-place care residents can choose any age-in-place agency). And although this is an independent living community, seniors have access to plenty of amenities. A salon, chapel, walking trail, and private dining room are the most-used amenities. Residents also have access to medical transportation and meal delivery.
