Requiring residents to attend meals is actually a positive - it allows staff to keep an eye on resident's intake and encourages socialization, which is so important.\n\nThe staff is very accommodating and attentive, which gave us a lot of peace of mind.\n\nCons (with a silver lining):\nThe schedule of three set meals a day can feel rigid. My mom didn't love this structure, though I personally appreciated it. Securely nestled in wide open, rolling farmland, our property is speckled with maturing trees and revels in the quiet country atmosphere. With spacious hallways, welcoming common areas, and luxurious dining rooms, residents can experience modern living without leaving the cozy comfort of home.</p> <p>We consistently encourage socialization and companionship. Look forward to daily activities such as Bingo and Rook, or choose from a variety of exercise and wellness classes. Here, residents can maintain their health, independence, and quality of life for as long as possible.</p> <h3>Living Arrangements</h3> <p>Clean and spacious studio, one-, and two-bedroom assisted living apartments include a modern kitchenette with ample cabinet space, full size fridge, microwave, and large sink. Living spaces are partially carpeted and offer plenty of natural light. Private bathrooms are complete with wheelchair accessible showers and call lights for assistance. Each cozy unit also features private and semi-private outdoor patios and comes unfurnished, so residents are free to make their space feel like home. Residents admitted to our independent living apartments must be at least 50 years or older and able to secure their own utilities.
