Outstanding in every way

Lexington Manor is definitely a five star facility. The staff have been more than accommodating. [name removed], the leasing agent was very helpful. [name removed]. The administrator was very, very nice and [name removed] the chef has gone above and beyond providing gluten-free food for my friend. This was a very important factor in us choosing Lexington Manor. No other facility was really accommodating for a special diet. I have had two lunches there and I found the food to be outstanding. They are always checking on my friend. They take the garbage out two times a day so they are physically checking on her. The cleanliness is superb. They do her laundry and it comes back very very nice. The Activities, I'm more than overjoyed that she is joining in on the exercise classes. Apartment size is wonderful. She was able to take her full queen size bedroom set over into the bedroom there That's the bed two nightstands and two dressers. All fit beautifully in the bedroom with no crowding , living room is a bit crowded but very comfortable. Compared to the other facilities we looked at there is definitely no comparison. This is very outstanding in every way. In another 5 to 10 years when I am looking for assisted living, this is the only choice I would make for myself.

Review for Lexington Manor at Port Charlotte

The move in process was seamless, they were extremely helpful with suggestions for movers etc. The best part about Lexington is the staff. It's a small town feeling where they all know the residents names, are always making sure everyone has what they need. The activities are amazing, they have monthly celebrations that keeps them all engaged. I looked at 5 different places in Port Charlotte and Lexington was above and beyond the perfect fit for us. I really can't say enough good things. My mom was very unhappy about having to move from her house and they made her feel so welcome and now after a couple months she is so happy to be there

Review for Lexington Manor at Port Charlotte

I would give them 4 stars. Dining is great along with activities. No clarification on levels of care and nursing could be more involved when falls with injuries occur. Apartment size is adequate and food menu is great.

5/5 for everything. My father has had an excellent experience at a reasonable price. I'm from out of town so I rely on them heavily to keep me informed. Facility is clean, nursing director fantastic, front office staff very friendly.

Assisted Living is not for the Faint of Heart.

The community is clean and some of the staff are friendly and some are short like you are bothering them when asking for care that you are paying for. There have been negative occurrences since our loved one have been there. The large elevator has been out of service multiple times which is very stressful and disappointing. The transport is under staffed and difficult to get appointments schedule. When it comes to laundry some items are getting lost and sometimes never found. There could be more activities planned for all residents. There has been med errors and they do not seem to coordinate care with the family that is involved. For highly cognitive resident, this place is lacking. Sometimes the food is good and other times it is not. One CNA does all the activities and worship. When it comes to the value for cost it is way overpriced!!! They charge for everything they can and then some.

Review for Lexington Manor

We had a very positive experience. The staff was friendly, the food was good and they celebrated and made it festive (ie: cinco de Mayo) to mix it up when they could, our mom liked the activities and we felt it was a good value for the price.
