About the facility Linden Village A ProMedica Senior Living Community
At Linden Village, a senior living community, residents receive quality care in a comfortable environment. The community sits on a spacious country lot just off of Route 72, but is still close to many local amenities. Residents can also participate in a variety of custom health and lifestyle programs that will enrich their mind, body, and spirit.
Linden Village is a one-story Personal Care Community that provides community-style living for seniors. Pathways connect the Four Cottages to the main community center, making it easy to attend social gatherings. Each cottage features 16 private rooms including common family rooms, and living and dining rooms. Memory care cottages meet the needs of residents with Alzheimer's and dementia through specialized programming and access to a beautiful enclosed outdoor courtyard.
Seniors at Linden Village will have access to an array of floor plans to choose from to best fit their best needs. Homey cottages offer16 private bedrooms that share common areas like activity and family rooms. Apartments have plenty of closet space, and either private or full bathrooms. Our family's experience!
They stepped and cared for my mother when I couldn't handle her anymore. It was a very difficult decision but one I'm glad I made. They treated her with the upmost respect. They kept her busy with plenty of activities from puzzles, music concerts to painting her nails. At first, she was very reluctant and wanted to leave. As time went on, they all became like family. I am very greatful that I had Linden Village. It made this journey, so much easier to except.

Linden Village has been absolutely wonderful. My dad was initially in memory care and they moved him after a month over to personal care. Their staff is very friendly and kind and helpful to both my dad and our family. Management has also been very kind and responsive. No issues at all!

Great care with a great staff!
I would give 5"s across the board. Both my cousin and I were very happy with the care my mom got. The only thing that would have made her stay better was a TV. We brought her one, but the home would not give us a Wifi code for her to watch. Yes I would recommend this community to other families!

"nice community, caring staf
Her room and bathroom weren't kept very clean. There were some aids that were great and others that were not very good. Laundry was hit or miss with the aids. Some of the other residents made being there uncomfortable, but I know that can't be helped. Her personal hygiene needed help and I took care of it myself when I was able to. Overall when the right aids, nurses and activity people were working, things were great. The best thing about my mom being at Linden Village was that she was loved by a lot of people, both employees and residents. She didn't want to be there but she loved the staff.

Wonderful Care
My father had early onset dementia for a few years. Unfortunately this past summer he suffered a stroke and other medical emergencies caused him to go downhill very fast and we had to make a hard decision to place him at Linden Village where he could be under 24 hour watch. He unfortunately passed away from the dementia and other medical issues. He was at Linden Village for the last 3 months of his life. My mother, brother and I were very impressed by the care my father received. It is very hard to leave a parent or spouse in the care of others but the staff made us feel at ease and we knew he was being taken care of. The staff were always kind to the residents and made sure they were receiving the care that they needed. I highly recommend Linden Village!

Feces
My father has dementia, carries a catheter 24/7, and is incontinent. A Place for Mom strongly recommended Linden Village (LV). 5 days after his arrival at LV, he was taken to the hospital for septic shock. He survived thanks to powerful antibiotics and was sent back to LV. During the following 2 weeks, he returned to the hospital several times because his catheter contained blood in his urine. When I was finally able to visit my father, I immediately saw that his bedsheets were soiled with feces. Within a couple of hours, I realized that he had been defecating in his sweatpants about twice per day without any briefs or underwear. Most, if not all, of the feces were dry, meaning that he had been carrying the feces in the vicinity of the catheter connection into his body for hours. A day later, I found dried feces lathered onto the tubing of his catheter. A day later, I drove him out of Linden Village.

Homey environment
I need to share that this facility was just on a list with a place for mom and nobody recommended it for my mom's specific needs. Another facility told me Linden Village was a great option for dementia patients. What I really like is the home like environment with common sitting and dining areas.
The staff members are truly caring, and most know how to handle dementia patients with ease. My mom feels loved by the nurses and caregivers.

Excellent senior living memory care facility.
My stepfather who suffers from dementia, was accepted at ProMedica - Linden Village senior living facility in Lebanon, PA, for his long term comfort care. He resided in the STOY half-bath quad room cottage. The smaller private bedroom and pleasant dining area with limited number of patients sitting together helped to reduce the stress and agitation during mealtimes and family member visits.
The Executive Director [name removed] and Senior Care Advisor [name removed], who is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner are very professional and proficient at handling the individual assessment and admission processes. They are always very caring, informative, responsive to questions, and friendly. All of the other administrative staff, therapists, and caregivers did an excellent job every day, carefully attending to my stepfather’s physical, medical, hygienic and nutritional mealtime needs. Our family highly recommends this facility for long term care of your love one.

Our experience was very good, [name removed] was loved even towards the end when she became more difficult to manage, I feel that the people at Linden Village went above what was expected. Of course the cost is never easy but when we moved [name removed] into a nursing facility and saw the price double it became apparent that Linden Village was a good value. [name removed] is now Home with her Heavenly Father and her care is 100% covered and 100% joyful, Praise God for his son.

Lovely facility
I found Linden Village to be the most "homey" of the facilities I toured. The quad layout created small sections of residents, rather than long corridors that can get confusing. It felt the most like home over the other facilities.

Things to know before moving in
Residents should not have things of value in their rooms, they tend to go missing. Every penny in Mom's purse disappeared, two watches and several other small items.
More attention is needed in bathrooms especially it commodes. Table in dining room need wiped off after each meal.

Fantastic for dementia care
My sister entered Linden Village for more security. She had dementia and liked to wander outside. The assistants in her cabin were very patient and took time to really get to know the residents. The activities director was creative with music, crafts and exercise.
