Montclair Senior Living and Memory Care provides memory care services in a safe environment. offers a secure courtyard with shaded seating and peaceful walking paths. Inside, common areas foster a sense of community and provide comfortable, homey settings.
This community uses the SPARK Program,a Montessori approach to memory care. Each resident’s strengths and capabilities are evaluated, then they participate in rehabilitative programming that focuses on social interactions and optimizing cognitive abilities. A variety of activities are also available, allowing residents to find a craft or skill that interests them. Activities include include cooking, bowling, or reading.

What a great place
I toured here and am so delighted that people actually care. I was lost, had no idea about how to help my mom and my tour guide helped navigate through this awful journey in the most beautiful way possible. Her ability to calm my anxiety was better than any prescription ever given to me from a doctor. I look forward to my mother's move.

Don’t let the new community and cheap prices fool you!
I toured this community and a resident was sitting next to a staff member and that resident smelled like urine really bad. How could this staff member not smell the urine? They don’t even have any many residents and still can’t give good care. Don’t let the new and cheap prices fool you. The lady also was

Lovely!
From the time I walked in the door , until the time I left I just felt so welcomed . It felt as if I was in my own home! The receptionist is very polite, and the overall staff are very warming with their bright smiles . The place is very clean and beautiful. There’s do doubt that my dad will love it here & you would too !

Grand Opening October 2024!!
Found this facility for my mother in law just as they were grand opening! Older reviews were for a different facility that had closed. Montclair opened in the same building. It's completely remodeled and the staff is fantastic. Highly recommend checking it out. My mother in law was at a Citadel nursing home prior to this and the two don't compare. Montclair is welcoming and friendly with a staff I trust to take care of her. The food is great-my mother in law looks forward to meals! Programming is good and they encourage her to be social. Walking into the building feels homey and comfortable. I have them in mind in case another relative requires needs similar services. It's a place that really cares.

Warning!!
Warning!! this place should be thoroughly investigated, and you should talk to families of residents.
This used to be a first class operation till late 2018, but has deteriorated drastically since then.
My relative was just transferred to another facility, and could not do it fast enough.
Caregivers as a whole are a joke, totally unprofessional, and if they were ever trained, it escapes them.

So far, so good
I feel assured that my partner is being cared for with the best methods and experience at The Auberge (formerly Silverado) Orchard Park. I, as most of the other families, have concerns over the new management company. Things seem to be pretty much the same at this point but it's very early in the game for them and we are anxious about changes in the future.

Warm, Caring and Engaging Community
Caring staff, clean facility and warm environment.
Need to get residents out in the sunshine or out of their facility at least once a week- might be a problem in the winter.
Staff effective in engaging mom and getting her to participate in the activities.
Food is good and they do everything to encourage and welcome family members.

We had an unhappy experience in another senior care facility. So we recently moved Mom to give her a fresh start. What a difference it has made. She is in physical therapy now and very motivated working to build up her strength. She is able to walk short supervised distances with the walker. Not bad for 98. I get detailed reports of her progress weekly and hopefully, soon she will be able to spend more time on her feet every day.
The facility is set up more like a communal home. A den like room offers big screen TV with comfy chairs and tables for activities. The dining room tables are set, with flowers and table cloths and she likes the food! I had lunch with her recently and was very pleased. There seems to be a good ratio of staff to residents and everyone is friendly and patient. Go and have a look and judge for yourself.

Not for my family member
I went there to see the facility because a friend's mother lives there and I was looking for a facility for my mother to live. After talking to a few people there I was surprised to find out that there has been a large turnover in staff after new management. I did not feel that this is appropriate for Alzheimer 's residents. Therefore I decided not to choose Silverado.
