Meals weren't like they are described in the brochure, but they were okay. Mom used to complain that they served rice too often. Activities were definitely lacking when she was there. Same thing - not enough people. Also, not a lot of residents then. Mom hasn't been there for quite some time, so it's probably better now. The overall cleanliness was okay, but they did not clean her room often enough or well enough. She says the nurses are very nice to her. The nurses' desk is right outside of her room, and there are more eyes and a lot more attention on the residents, and all-around better supervision for somebody like her who really needs that to keep her safe. Comparatively to where she was before, I like NorBella's pricing system better, with just four standard packages. So you know exactly what you'll be paying every month with no surprises.
