A Mom looking for her New Home with one of my Daughters
It is a low income community, but people are nice, as everywhere. You will find people more prepared and even with college degrees and one must be open to start making new friends and be participative in the Community Activities.I believe there is not a perfect place and it is in our hands be happy. Its location is fabulous to continue with an active life out of our new home.I would like to express my sincere gratitude to [name removed] because without her help I would have not found a Place that I like, and could afford. I recommend everyone to work with A Place For Mom; no one is as caring and understanding as You.

It's a nice place to live.
I've lived here [time frame removed] and I like it. It's in a nice neighborhood surrounded with plants and trees. I can't wait until autumn to see the leaves change colors. The staff is nice and helpful. They have a 24 hour receptionist and I feel safe.

a great place for independent living
the community is truly an independent living community and your loved one needs to be self-sufficient. If additional care is needed they will make suggestions but it is up to you to get that help. The location of the community is great and they are close to the metro and very close to restaurants and shops. Based on my experience I would recommend this community to independent seniors.

A Great Place for Independent Seniors
I was very happy with the experience. Everyone was very nice. My loved one enjoyed her stay there. The people were very friendly and helpful, and she enjoyed getting her meals. They delivered her meals to her due to Covid. They were always very nice and very helpful.

Friendship Terrace beats the hell out of any local 5 star nursing home. But you, as family, must be involved.
My mother and her second husband moved in after my mother was diagnosed with Altzheimers. Our hope was that she could be close to Iona where she loved going. Sly, the day she moved in to FT she stopped going to Iona. However, the activities, and friends and love she found at FT made up for the loss of Iona. There are certainly administrative challenges to managing such a place, but overall it was a pleasant, loving, and safe place for my mother and step- father to live for 7 and 9 years, respectively. My mother passed in late 2016 and my step-dad in mid 2019. We also found a community of caregivers who helped us create a network of care that we didn’t even know we needed! The FT staff was always helpful and very personable and kind. Can’t ask for more. Yes, FT suffered from all the residential institutional ills but tries like heck to overcome. What more can you ask for?! Friendship Terrace was a godsend.

Staff very pleasant. The lobby, halls, common areas were clean. Not impressed with the studio and 1 bedroom construction. No street parking available as it is located in a residential area. Parking for residents is $60 monthly.

Friendship Terrace is the place to be!
Friendship Terrace is a wonderful place for Seniors. It is a modern, comfortable, and cheery place, very centrally located, and with good services for residents. The apartments are furnished with everything necessary to be independent, if the resident prefers. The staff is very helpful and kind. There are many activities in-house and transportation to shopping nearby. Seniors who wish to live in an independent setting will really love it here.

Good Community
We had a small issue when initially moving in but it was taken care of. We feel like something should have been in better condition when it was given to the resident. The location of this community is in the same neighborhood that our loved one liked and felt comfortable in. We really liked the fact that they provide assistance when it's needed but still has the independent living feeling to it. We are very pleased with Friendship Terrace and would recommend it to anyone.
