Review for Stellar Care
The main reason was it exclusively for Memory Care patients. The other places I looked at were assisted living first and a smaller memory care unit felt like an afterthought. StellarCare had three floors were depending on your state you would live. The lowest floor had less stimulus and soft colors while the upper floor catered to active patients. My mom was free to walk around and go wherever she wanted and was always cared for wherever she was. They had the big room downstairs where they did large group activities and a smaller room for the more needy patients with their own activities. They were set up to deal with a variety of patients and I never once saw anyone that wasn't well looked after

Our families experience
Stella Care is close proximity to home. It afforded me the ability to visit daily. The people that worked there were very nice and took interest in my mom's care. My only beef is that my mom in the beginning was insistent on wearing her wedding ring which subsequently went missing. It was tough to put her there in the beginning but she told me later that she liked it.

The facility is very well maintained. The staff is engaging and friendly. The communication has been great, including frequent updates on her status. The move-in was seamless. The food must be good because Mom is eating and sleeping well. This facility is everything I had hoped for and I would recommend it to others.

Pros and cons
Certain staff are very helpful however we have witnessed many of the caregivers spend a majority of their time on their cell phones opposed to being 100% attentive to the patients they are assigned to care for during the "Activities Room" &/or the room the patients go to when not at a meal during the day.

Great place for a loved one
They were great with everything!
The staff was was caring attentive kind and cared for my mom whenever I busses the longest wait Wes 20 minutes and my sister and I were there 6days a week for 3 and 4 hours a day u see that they cared for mom.
Clean, food was good but not great but it was palatable.

Great facility
I know a Stellar Care resident who is really pleased with the care he has received from the staff. They're all doing an excellent job. They treat their residents with professionalism, respect, knowledge, and compassion. Great place for mom
Stellar Care gets all 5 stars. This is a much better facility than the previous place we had my mother at. We chose Stellar Care because it was super clean, the staff were friendly, they had air conditioning, lots of windows that let in natural light, and there was secure underground parking available.

We had a good tour at Stellar Care. The facility was clean. The staff were very helpful and nice. They way they operated seemed good. It was just a little too closed in for our family's preference. It was more like city living - a four story building with just an internal courtyard garden. The people were nice, and it was really well done. We just preferred less of a city atmosphere.

Specialized Memory Care for Dementia and Alzheimer's
I like the fact that Stellar Care is a memory care center only, which is ideal for residents with dementia/Alzheimer's. Some other facilities have assisted living as well as memory care, which makes the memory care sections feel like an infirmary sealed off from everything. Because Stellar Care just does memory care, it feels more like a senior community than a full-on memory care center, yet there are still security features in place to keep the residents safe. The staff has been good. Everyone has been very helpful with my loved one. If I need something for him, there' s always someone there to help. All I have to do is ask.

This is the Place You've Been Looking For
I think the community is professional and well maintained. They have great activities. This is a community I would recommend to others for their loved ones. The food is great.
Some of the activities available are library, movies, news groups, outings, music, and more for the residents to choose from.

They Really Make Everybody Feel At Home
We've had a very good experience. They're very good at what they do. And that's as much as you can ask, right? The staff have been excellent. My loved one has been very happy with the food, and they have a range of food that she likes, specifically for her diet, which I really appreciate. Activities have been a little limited due to Covid, like anywhere else, but they're doing as much as they can. They've been doing an event almost every week. I feel like they have been open and clear about the costs and what they'll be going forward.
