Nice Facility, caring people.
I don't know how much this helps but my score on the administration was affected by the fact that they've had a lot of turn over and have been making changes which are hard for the elderly. The jury is still out on whether the changes are good or bad in the long run.
I'm hesitant to comment about much more because we have had problems due to my mother's mental state, nothing to do with the facility. I feel like overall the facility is very good.

Sterling Inn is an assisted living community offering thoughtful care in the warm city of Victorville, California. Situated less than a five-minute drive from Spring Valley Lake, Mojave Narrows Regional Park, Meadowlark Park, and Spring Valley Lake Country Club, the prime location offers plenty of nature activities for residents to enjoy in their spare time.
Featuring a stately entrance, the community offers a grand, warm welcome to residents and visitors alike. Purposefully designed, luxurious amenities are offered for resident’s enjoyment. They can spend time in the expansive library, lavish salon, or in the parlor where residents can enjoy gathering or playing games.

Even though it is expensive just looking at the figures. Considering I have no utilities and food is provided. It is a great deal. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

Unprofessional management people from “Washington”
Worst experience ever my grandma is a resident here. The management that came in from Washington is so unprofessional. My grandma said since this new management came in everyone is being harassed. Treating people like they are nothing. They try to one up everyone. They kept the Christmas donation that the residents left for the workers and didn’t even throw a Christmas party for their workers like other years. [name removed] was amazing I don’t know what they think they could come in and fire everyone. WORST place do not recommend.

We love Sterling Inn
Sterling Inn is a beautiful and clean place. The Staff is always friendly and caring. The residents are also very nice and happy. Lots of great activities and different rooms to play cards in, watch the big TV, play pool, or sit outside. We love it!

Only thing I can say. The rates keep going up, it's getting a little expensive to stay there now. Hopefully, it'll work out. my dad like staying there.

The staff at Sterling Inn are very helpful during the move in as well as for daily living. This is my parents favorite of the places they've lived from Ohio to Las Vegas to Victorville, Ca.

I would & have recommended it. It's the best one around here. I don't know about out of the area. It is a difficult decision moving a loved one from their home & Mom was no exception. But she adapted very quickly, made friends, & loved it there. It's not perfect, but nothing is anyway.

My husband loved being there at Sterling Inn. The only time he ever complained was when his level of care went up. Sometimes when he would ask for assistance it would take an unreasonable length of time before he got the help or assistance he needed. Otherwise he said it was a good place to live. He made some good friends. Activities were enjoyable. Holidays and special days of the year were observed with appropriate activities. Also, it was always clean, meals were good and better than he expected.

Friendly staff
Besides being very friendly, staff also remembers family members names! Very impressive. If the staff has any concerns regarding my Mom, the staff immediately calls me right away, and if they cannot get ahold of me they call my daughter. A variety of meals are provided to meet everyone's needs. I feel this is one of the most important one of all because it motivates everyone's social emotional needs! These activities help my Mom and others think positive, It helps strengthen their brains, and something to look forward to! BINGO. It's a little pricey but, we get what we pay for and are very happy with the services. Everyone there is treated like kings and queens! Having a shuttle to take them for an outing is very convenient as well. A suggestion, a movie theater every other week would be nice. Overall, we are very happy with the staff and services at the Sterling Inn!

Review for Sterling Inn
Exterior lights need to be fixed for security of staff and residence. The floors and kitchen need regular scrubbings. Dust control at the neighboring concrete plant needs to be addressed, along with speeding 70+ mph vehicles on Ridgecrest Road. With the exceptions of the above mentioned wish list, the Sterling Inn is a gem. I would gladly volunteer my time to address the issues as the focus is on love and compassion is the first priority at the Sterling Inn by its staff.

A great place for loved ones
The place is very clean, the staff is very friendly, and my Mom enjoys playing cards and BINGO!!! I really appreciate that the staff reminds everyone which activities are about to take place and when it's time to eat. The Sterling Inn gives my family and I a peace of mind knowing that my mom is being well taken care of 24/7. In regards to the price it's a little expensive. Therefore, between my daughter and I , we give my Mom her meds and do her laundry to save some costs. My mom hasn't had the opportunity to go for an outing on the shuttle, but looks forward to it! Thank you all staff at Sterling Inn for doing such an amazing job!
