Doing an excellent job

This place was recommended to us by a hospice nurse, since Dad was not quite ready for that level of care yet. So far they've been excellent on all fronts, it's a clean well kept place and the caregivers are friendly and professional.

DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE

After my mother being a resident for over a year, and wrestling and getting nothing but the run around. I have finally hired a home health care giver to provide basic care, because she was not receiving it. Such as bathing, brushing teeth, changing soiled bedding, providing diapers. I washed down the walls in her bathroom myself to try and get rid of the odor. There’s mold around the baseboards and walls, her clothes keep disappearing and dirty laundry can sit for weeks smelling up her room. The temperature is close to 85 degrees every day even though there is a temperature gauge to keep it more comfortable. Ive installed two fans to keep her comfortable. Every time I am there the nurses are often at the desk looking at their phones. Fresh water is often not available. It is horrendous. So now in addition to being charged $[removed] a month for her to reside there I am private paying $[removed] a month for her to be cared for. Something needs to be done about this place.
