My experience
The staff members that we have spoken with over the phone have been really nice. We do think it is a pretty good value and we believe our loved one is receiving very good care. However, our loved one just does not like being in a care home.

My experience

Tara Hills Care Home is amazing! The staff is indeed very very "caring" and committed, and though my mother-in-law's care has been more than they had bargained for, they are infinitely patient and kind with her. She has almost total dementia now and they treat her like family. The owner, [name removed], will even take her to doctor's appointments if we can't. There's a deck (on which the residents often eat when the weather is nice) overlooking a BEAUTIFUL garden. On Easter, [name removed] even took those residents to mass who wanted to go. Everything is spotless clean, and everyone is totally on point. I can't say enough good things about this home and its marvelous staff.

Fabulous home away from home when your loved one can't be at home
This is the most fabulous place ever. [Name removed], the owner, is warm, compassionate, capable, knowledgable, and able to deal with doctors directly when you can't be there. The caretakers are amazing. Patient, warm, funny, competent like no others I've seen. The house is small enough so that everyone can be seen and gets personal attention when they need it. It has a marvelous garden and deck where patients can sit and listen to the birds and watch the resident cat purr. I can't say enough good things about it.

[Removed] the administrator of the home met me at the home and was a wealth of information. The residence of the home were up and dressed and available for us to ask how they liked the home. The caregivers were available and answered all my questions. Without hesitation, we were allowed to tour the entire home, inside and out. The home inside and out was clean and well maintained. Before moving in, other family members stopped by with no notice and were allowed to tour the home to give their input.
My loved one has now been in the home 2 weeks. I am extremely pleased with Tara Hills Care Home.
