Poor
Although there are a few brief positives- Staffing was a particular issue. Activities Leadership and professionalism was extremely poor. Issues around fixing things and housekeeping were also concerning.
The dining room wait staff was exceptional.

Excellent facility, recently renovated.
When you first come to visit, they will cover all you need to know, including all of the amenities that are offered here.
The facility is very clean and was just recently renovated.
The staff as well as the residents are so friendly.

Not recommended
I was previously a resident at The Bonaventure Senior Living and my experience was okay. Staffing was constantly a concern. The meals were poor quality with no healthy alternatives. Weekly housekeeping was an issue. They have since changed hands and perhaps they have corrected the staff and some of the other issues. Based off of my experience, I would not recommend The Bonaventure Senior Living to others.

our families experience
They have a lot of apartment options, the grounds and interior common areas are very well maintained and there is a lot for the residents to do. The food is good as well. I think the Bonaventure is great. My mother in law is very happy there even though she had a lot of reservations about going. The manager, [name removed], is awesome - very caring and extremely responsive.

It was a beautiful day at the Bonaventure. This is our greeting to yaw. The landscaping is well maintained and a joy to walk the grounds. The staff is around o answer questions and guide you into he direction of games, bingo, crafts etc. and for your information our rooms are kept clean.

It's a Great Place For Your Loved Ones
This is a nice friendly community. It is run very well.
They had lots of activities even during the pandemic. They even had different groups for dining to be able to socialize with other residents.
The Bonaventure had no cases of COVID. They were very diligent about their protocols.

They're here to help!
My mom just arrived at Bonaventure and was thrilled at how beautiful it is. She was aware of the quarantine time and was so happy to hear about how the community was going to keep her involved and call her daily until quarantine is over.
The next day was her birthday and family & friends were concerned because they could not reach her. I emailed the front desk and they immediately sent someone to the unit. My mom had her phone on silent, and couldn't find it. They helped her find the phone, turned it on for her and connected her to the wifi! Everyone was notified that mom was well and they can call with birthday wishes!
The immediate action at The Bonaventure really helped us know that there are people there to help, they went into action immediately which puts the family at ease because we know she is in good hands. [name removed] emailed me back with this information and I was truly relieved.

Really Look Into It and Look at the Details
I would recommend you go someplace else for your loved one. The food the community offers is horrible, along with the communication. They have a tendency to add charges and they don't give us notice on new charges that haven't charged in the past.

I've lived here for over 4 years and love the place. In round numbers, there are about 100 people living here and flourishing! The food is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the manager of this place is accommodating and very friendly! I've come to consider this place my home now and in the future!

My friend [name removed] and I came with my mother and her husband who were looking for a new home, and we loved it! It looked like a fine hotel, just beautiful. Everyone looked happy and the staff was very nice. It had a young vibe even though it was for seniors! Unfortunately, my mom and [name removed]'s husband have both passed, but we will keep The Bonaventure in mind for the future!
