Among the many impressive charistics of the facility are the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the welcoming nature of the other residents as well as the quality and diversity of the food. The staff are very always cheerful and encouraging. They discourage isolation by encouraging the residents to participate in the daily activities and to socialize at dinner. Not only are the staff very attentive to each resident but the other residents also encourage and help care for each other. It might be a pat of the shoulder or a smile or sharing a piece of chocolate when a resident is having a bad day. Another highlight of the facility is the food. The quality of the ingredients is a huge plus and the head chef is more than willing to accommodate various dietary restrictions whether it is low sodium, vegetarian, or gluten-free.
