Our flight arrived late, and we didn’t get to the facility until 11 p.m. They arranged for a van to pick us up, and when we arrived, the caregivers were expecting us. Several even stopped by Mom’s room to introduce themselves and welcome us. Because Mom’s furniture had not yet arrived, the staff thoughtfully set up her room so she would have furniture when we got there. They also generously let us use one of their beds until our own bed arrived several weeks later.
