The staff is all friendly, knew my moms name and location when I would stop in to visit. Mom is always out of her room with others and activities. Food is good and place is clean. Most important I have peace of mind that Mom is being taken care of and treated with dignity. There are all different levels of dementia in the community, and all are treated well.

The coordinator was very accommodating. She came to our house, explained their services. Later, after signing papers she was there to greet us as we dropped off my mother in law for 5 days of respite care. I told her we forgot her toothbrush, and asked if I should go pick one up before dropping her off. She said they would take care of it. She took us to her very nice bedroom with plenty of room, and had another helper take her to the library in the building and we departed. Five days later, I texted the coordinator and let her know when we would arrive to pick up [name removed]. When we returned, employees brought [name removed] down wearing someone else's clothes that were too short, and in bare feet. We asked for her bag of clothes, and the employee was not aware of any bag. We described it and they went up to go look for it. The coordinator had been sitting in her office and could hear the conversation and I was surprised she did not assist. The employees found her bag with clothes missing. We took her home and her breath was foul smelling as though her teeth had not been brushed the week she was there. I know My mother in law can be a tough customer as she has agitative dementia, but I figured they were experienced with agitation. Maybe they were letting us know they did not want [name removed] to return, and I understand that.

It was fresh and clean wide halls food smells good The price was More than expected. But when the time comes, I will visit again. The double room could of been 50 more sq. And all bathrooms were outside of the room I get it but it seemed different.

Dirty facility. I watch the staff seat residents for lunch on filthy tables from breakfast. Dining area floors were still filthy with food from breakfast. My mom’s garbage was constantly full of Depends even though they said garbage should be emptied at each shift change. These were consistent issues not one off. I moved my mom out to a much better place.

My mother lives at Beverly Lake. The transition into a memory care facility was difficult as you are allowing others to care for your loved one’s. This is done in different ways than you would do or are used to, which is very difficult to accept. Our first year (2023) at Beverly was very challenging due to lack of leadership and staffing /resource challenges. We discussed removing mom from the facility. However, this last year, 2024, Beverly hired a new Executive Director and we saw many changes including staff, process and accountability of the team members, that had a positive impact. As a result of these improvements we made the decision to leave mom at Beverly. Today, the Terrace at Beverly Lake is a place where my mom is given the care she needs and activities to keep her engaged and active.

I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care my mom receives at The Terrace at Beverly Lake memory care facility. The staff is truly remarkable — not only are they compassionate and attentive, but they go above and beyond to ensure that every resident feels valued and supported. They always treat my mom with kindness, patience, and respect. The variety of activities offered is fantastic, ensuring that all residents have opportunities to stay engaged, stimulated, and have fun. From arts and crafts to music therapy, exercise classes, and social events, there's always something for her to do. It’s clear that the staff takes great pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment where each individual’s needs are met with the utmost care and consideration. I’m so thankful for everything they do, and the peace of knowing my mom is in such a loving and attentive place. My wife was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers in 2019 and after 5 years I had to make the tough decision to place her in a memory care facility primarily due to safety and health issues. In the summer of 2024 I toured 4 different facilities as well as "The Terrace at Beverly Lake". A friend of mine knew a friend that had put his spouse at the Terrace. I selected the Terrace because I had a friend with personal experience that was good, good location, the place was clean, being updated, and had nice decore throughout the facility. After my wife moved in we waited 2 weeks for a visit (highly recommended). This is for the client as well as caregiver. Now after over a year I am glad I made the decision to place her at The Terrace. The front office is welcoming and always willing to listen and help with any issues. The cost was/is very competitive with others and the staff are professional, caring and kind. The activites are also really in line for the clents.

I am learning to trust the caretakers. Most are extraordinarily kind. That includes administration! My only concern is an issue that I have found throughout this industry — it’s hard to attract and keep caring, committed, and competent staff. Like every facility I’ve looked at in the last two years — in both Washington and California — all are working with an almost skeleton staff. It’s a national issue!

What stood out most was the appearance that nobody was caring for my mom. In one year there were no calls that she needs more toilet paper, soap or shampoo. Her toenails were so long they looked like claws. This is after requesting a nail trim. Her garbage was routinely overflowing with dirty Depends but they are supposed to empty every shift change. Watching employees set residents at dining tables for lunch that were still filthy from breakfast. We feel horrible because we assumed someone was paying attention but that is not the case.

They could improve on communication between all of the different caregivers about individual patients idiosyncrasies. We found that we would communicate with one person and hope that our information and preferences would be disseminated to other caregivers but it didn't appear like they had a consistent way of disseminating that information. All the caregivers themselves were great. We weren't the biggest fans of the nursing coordinator at the time but she had lots on her plate. My mom ended up having a fall and was in the hospital for over a month and then the terrorists didn't want her back after that because they didn't feel they could give the care that she needed. We found an adult family care home, golf view, that has been great

I would recommend them. The director, nurses etc moved in and out, but the caregivers were wonderful. They loved mom and all the residents- even the difficult ones. [name removed]is the office manager and she has been there 10 or 15 years. She really keeps the place going. We were attracted to them because they were north of Seattle - I moved to Redmond. They were pet friendly - mom loved dogs. Facility was bright and clean and, of course, it was memory care so mom never escaped

If you have to make one of the most difficult decisions of your life to place your loved one in a Memory Care Facility, I hope you find TABL. My concerns in finding a place for my Sister was based on three things: 1- her safety 2- the cleanliness of the facility 3- genuine respect for each resident as an individual, and care for their wellbeing. I can tell you TABL met my expectations, (and I'm really picky ) I looked at everything. Over the years, the staff has become family and that is how they treat not just my Sister, but all of the residents. TABL treats the residents with the utmost respect, even in those 'hard' situations, and that is a difficult thing to find in a care facility. I'm most happy with the facility and Sis won't be going anywhere else.

Keeping my mom safe and taken care of is my priority. I would rate five stars but they seem to have a hard time with staff turnover. But that seems to be the industry. The communication is great which is important to me. No one wants to have a parent in memory care but I’m thankful for The Terrace during this difficult time.
