I take her out on Sundays for church and lunch. God answered my prayers when we found this place.\nWhen my mom got here almost a year ago, she came from a rehab / nursing home in Ohio because she lived there. They had her in there for two months to strengthen her legs because of a blood clot. In two months she no longer walked and was being transferred with a hoyer lift. Now, I realize if you ask a demented patient if she wants to do therapy that day, the answer will ALWAYS be NO! I explained that to the Villa and within a month she was walking with a walker! Hallelujah! She still uses a walker but at least she's up and about. My mom loves going to all the activities throughout the week. She tells me the food is good.
