The staff at Waltonwood are professional, friendly and caring. The food is exceptional. The one bedroom apartment is spacious and cleaned once a week. Laundry is done once a week and returned the same day. It is an incredible facility and we are sincerely grateful that my brother is living there and gets the care he needs.

Staff has been very responsive to issues, the two bedroom is very spacious, when there was a complaint about food the chef came to talk with my parents and the food has improved to their satisfaction. Only issue was trying to get my dad online to their Portal. That took a lot of back and forth but we finally figured out they put his email in wrong.

The marketing team is great and they sold me on an experience that isn't happening. In memory care, the residents sit around in their wheelchairs all day. The activity program does not enrich memory care experience. It's low level and is not tailored for growth. There is very little interaction between residents and very little is done to promote that. The staff seems stretched thin, especially the wellness coordinator. My loved one has been there several weeks and we are still waiting on PT to begin. Also LO may have a UTI which was mentioned and no one has called me to let me know outcome of tests that happened days later. Room size is adequate. Multiple choices for food. However wait staff will not help LO make choices and LO is hard of hearing. Overall we are very disappointed with level of care.

The facility seemed fine, but the staff was incredibly rushed and disorganized. They started our appointment late, didn’t have the details of my family‘s particular situation and rushed us through a hasty tour. There wasn’t a lot of empathy in any of the staff members that we talked to and I just didn’t get the sense that the patient care level would match what we are expecting.

They have done a wonderful job supporting my brother. I would definitely recommend Walton Woods. They have made the transition to independent living an excellent process.

My mother has dementia and when my dad passed everyone was very helpful with my mother. My sister eventually moved my mother near her so neither of them were there longer than 5 months.

All of the residents complain about the food, it's not good. The outside concrete walks are very uneven, both of my parents have tripped. I'm in the winter, snow/ice is not received from in-between vehicles. It is very slippery and hazardous for seniors, especially. They had the roof replaced a couple weeks ago. My mother's angel statue was broken. Her favorite Hibiscus plant was broke and she couldn't save it. There are still nails in the lawn and on the sidewalks. They can't walk out barefoot. They don't notify residents if they are turning the water off for planned service. My parents got on the waiting list for the parking structure last August. New residents moved in and had a parking spot under the structure. It's possible that the residents just moved from a different apartment, I'm not sure When my parents are gone for a few days, management calls me to check on them, I appreciate that. They have made friends

The staff members are caring, helpful, friendly. My brother who is a picky eater raves about the food. His one bedroom apartment is easy to navigate around in with his wheelchair and is cleaned weekly. All in all, the move to Waltonwood at 12 Oaks has been a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend them. They are pricey but it's totally worth it for the peace of mind we all have knowing that my brother is happy and in a safe environment and is well taken care of.

Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable and willing to assist with any necessary paperwork to get my brother admitted. The response time for work orders is excellent. There are many activities available for people who reside there. The building has been recently renovated and is always clean. The front desk Staff are personable and willing to assist with any issue. It was and remains a wonderful experience. There is very little turnover in staff which indicates the satisfaction of both staff and residents.

My mother had to be moved from assisted living to memory care. I would give memory care all 5s. They were fantastic. I guess I would give assisted living all 5s too. The activities especially in memory care were abundant. My mother always had something going on. The staff was very familiar with the residents on both sides. They are very attentive, accommodating and easy to work with.

The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Overall my mom doesn't need a lot of help but if she does they go out of their way to help her. Its hard for me to give feedback regarding the food. My mom is picky and is somewhat tough to please.

The dining room food is generally terrible with a zero on service. They may eat on site once a week. There are several neighbors who complain about the food. She's had two water leaks in her apartment. One from an upstairs neighbors flooded and the second from an outdoor source(heavy rain that their drain system could not handle). I was not satisfied with how the clean up was handled. Her mail is hit or miss. She needs to ask about packages that the senders say they were delivered and sometimes she gets mail and sometimes she doesn't. Her new driver's license was sent back to the State because it was undeliverable???? It took her weeks to get a new one so she had an expired license for a few weeks. Sometimes the cleaners come, sometimes they don't. She didn't hit the morning button once and nobody checked on her. She has met some friends here, which makes me happy.

The manager was very nice and empathetic. She gave an excellent tour of the spotless facility. The apartments are well thought out layouts with high quality amenities. The facility has everything a senior can want.

It's been a amazing experience. The staff has been very supportive / accommodating. The activities are set up to accommodate persons with various ailments. The dining has been excellent. They offer a large variety of options, not to mention healthy options.

1. 5, Residents and staff are great which makes for an accepting environment. 2. Cleanliness. 4, The staff does light housekeeping which isn't quite enough. 3. 5, Staff and residents greet each other with hello. 4. Quality of care. I live in independent living. I can use the Waltonwood pendent to summon help. 5. Administrative staff. 5, I noticed loose flashing on the roof, which was repaired immediately. 6. Food. 4, I like the arrangement of eating breakfast and dinner in the dining room. The menu does not accommodate vegetarians, but overall the selections allow for balanced meals. 7. 5, The range of activities is amazing. 8. Value for the Money. 5. Comments for future residents? Being part of a community is important. The staff who organizes activities brings in live entertainment, supports resident activities requests, organizes outings, knows residents well enough to cater to personal interests. They are amazing--polite, accommodating, and smiling. And yes, you can use my name. Advice for potential residents. Do you see people in the common areas? Look at the range of activities from Happy Hour to the Stretch and/or Balance classes. Yes, you have my permission to use my comments. And thank you to the "Find a Place for Mom" people who helped me and our children find Waltonwood.

My mother has been here for about a month and we do not regret the decision. Waltonwood is clean and the staff is friendly. There is some room for improvement on the welcome process I think. It would’ve been nice to have somebody check in after 4-5 days and see how the resident is acclimating but I don’t believe this ever happened. Similarly, I don’t think much effort was made to pull mom in to daily activities and events- seems resident needs to be a self starter in that regard. But still, things are progressing fine and mom seems happy.
