I have ONLY PRAISE for the staff at this WONDERFUL facility!!! My mother was cared for and lived at BLUE HORIZON for almost 5 years. She was a little over 100 years young. The staff showed my mother the UTMOST love, compassion, caring and consideration. She was ALWAYS clean and all her medical needs were met. The staff and administrator were ready and willing to work with our family in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE!!! We will ALWAYS be GRATEFUL and BLESSED to have found an AMAZING facility for my mother's last several years. I visited my mom ALMOST every day, in the mornings, at lunch and sometimes during the weekends at late afternoon. I ALWAYS went unannounced and the facility was ALWAYS CLEAN, bed linens were clean and fresh and OBTW they do have a WONDERFUL person providing VERY TASTEY meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My mother, towards the last 10 months could not feed herself and one of the staff was ALWAYS THERE to feed her!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Very loving community! Staff and residents are well cared for. They do activities with the residents and allow them to free roam in the facility, they are not just in bedrooms. Wonderful caring people!

I needed a facility very quickly and they were great at getting my Stepdad in. The other thing I really liked is that they accept Medicaid. It’s a really nice community and the staff takes great care of him. He gets a lot more attention than a skilled nursing facility and they get him up and in a wheelchair and bring him to the common room. I ate here during Christmas and it was a nice meal. They tend to serve a lot of carbs but my stepdad doesn’t mind. I would recommend this facility to other families.

Very nice people. Most rooms are single occupancy but they do have one double. Bath in that room has a tub r/t a walk-in shower which they have elsewhere in the house. Clean and no odors.

When we first found Casa Bella, my dad’s condition had started deteriorating. He had a stage 3 bedsore from a previous facility and we couldn’t seem to get it under control. Whenever I was able to get my dad into Casa Bella, the next time I visited him it had been remedied. This facility is a blessing and I’ve already recommended it to friends. Their staff consists of nurse practitioners and they’re so easy to communicate with. They always seem to have the answer and if they don’t then they find it. The food is alright, it’s definitely nutritious and there’s plenty of it. Everything is always clean. They give baths 3 times a week, the trash is almost nonexistent, the laundry is done daily, and everyone gets the care they need when they need it. This place only holds 10 people so the cost can be a bit much but I’d rather my dad get the care he deserves. There’s plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained like coloring books, games, and other mental activities that stimulate the residents. Cable is even included! The director of this facility is simply wonderful and I couldn’t have chosen a better place for my dad to stay.

The director of Casa Bella was the main reason for choosing this place for my father. [Removed] is a terrific person. The place is clean and staffed with friendly help. I do notice that when she is there it runs like a smooth sailing ship. When she is not the help tends to be slacking slightly. Just my observation. I want to thank [Removed] for helping me find this home for pop. As he seems to be adjusting pretty well.

Mom likes this place it is brand new and always clean. She is in the memory center it is well lit and warm. The food is good here and you have lots of options to choose from. The staff is really nice. They do physical therapy here by walking around the community. They will clean her room weekly and it smells clean. I would recommend this community.

We toured Blue Horizon Assisted Living during our search for a facility for our loved one. They were homey, clean and smelled good. They were significantly less expensive than the other facility that we toured. They came highly recommended, but we just felt that the other facility was a better fit for our dad. They did not separate residents by levels of care. The rooms opened up to a hallway so the resident had to navigate out of their rooms then navigate out of the hallway to the common area. I think a resident would do well if they had mild-moderate levels of dementia.

I toured Casa Bella but cleanliness was an issue for me and a lack of "safe" places to take a walk with my loved one. It also smelled and that was hard to take.

Casa Bella seemed a little chaotic due to all the care levels being in one area. The community wasn't as clean as I had expected.

My mom is here right now and so far so good. I’m pretty pleased with everything and everything seems perfect. There’s only one area that I’m not pleased with but that’s being taken care of soon. When the main manager is there, she’s very good at helping my mom with things, but I feel like she should really make sure that the people that are working for her are doing their job. Other than that, I’m happy with everything else. I like the way they treat my mom, they’re really good with that. The facility is very clean and they keep up with everything there. The food is very good. They serve balanced, home cooked meals and she’s even eating more now that she’s there and that’s a positive. The things that matter, they’re really good. I definitely feel like I’m getting my money’s worth for the care that she’s getting and the aids are really nice.

Casa Bella is a newer, more modern facility. It is larger and has more residents and when we came to tour it was kind of loud and chaotic. The atmosphere has more of a nursing home type feel to it rather than the homey feel we were looking for. I felt that my loved one would have had a harder time transitioning since she is quiet and likes her privacy. The tour itself felt kind of rushed and we felt some sales pressure, they kept telling us they only had 1 room left that could go at anytime, so to make a decision quickly.

I was not comfortable with this community at all. It was not the right fit for my loved ones needs. They did not even know that I was coming and the tour guide was not there to do the tour.
