Angels Garden Senior Communities

It's a beautiful home. The staff is welcoming, you are greeted with a smile. They are thorough, conscientious and caring. The communication between staff and the family of their residents is over the top. If they notice any minute changes in behavior or physical status, the manager is immediately calling you. They want you to be a part in creating a care plan and voice any concerns you may have. My husband has been there six months and to date I haven't had any concerns. They are totally against sedation to manage behavior. They are incredibly patient with your loved one and have a deep understanding of the illness and how to interact and guide a patient with dementia. The place is spotless and no hint of any odors ever. The meals are freshly prepared daily. Sometimes the aromas coming from the kitchen make my mouth water. Lol I consider my husband's room on the large size with a high ceiling and two large windows letting in lots of natural light. There is a large covered porch and two gazebos. They encourage family and friends to take the resident outside for fresh air. If you were to sit down and make a wish list of everything you would hope for in a personal care home situation, Angels Garden would tick off all of the boxes. They are pricey, but you get what you pay for here. I am grateful to [name removed] for all of her patience and guidance through a very difficult time in my life. Without [name removed] I would never have known about Angels Garden.

I will give them a five on everything. She drove all the way from Hamilton Mills to Athens to meet my mother-in-law to make sure she would be a good fit and that she could take care of her, which I thought was very good. Although she wasn't there long, they did take good care of her, and the hospice care was good also. It is a very clean facility. The rooms are a good size, and the flowers, trees, and grounds are kept very nice. As far as price, they are more reasonable than the other places suggested and definitely more personable. She seems to care a lot more about the person than just making money. This is a family-run facility with good help. The food looked delicious, and all the food is fresh, not prepackaged or frozen.

Our family is forever grateful to Angel’s Garden. My mom arrived there after two months in the hospital, incredibly weak and on hospice. Under the amazing care of Mariana and her team, she made a miraculous turnaround. She went from a wheelchair to a walker, got off hospice, and has now graduated to an assisted living facility. Thank you, Mariana and team, for your incredible dedication and care!

Angels Garden's caregivers are extremely patient, concerned for their residents, kind and friendly. The coordination between [name removed], the owner, the resident physician and Dacula Pharmacy is over the top! It is a beautiful home that has the smells of a home from their meals prepared on site and surroundings are cozy and comfortable. Their bedrooms are furnished and nicely appointed. This place is exactly what I had hoped for but didn't think existed. I am truly grateful to [name removed] with A Place for Mom for guiding me through this most difficult time to the perfect new home for my husband.

My aunt moved here after a fall. We couldn’t believe our good fortune on finding this place. She lived there for four years and recently passed at the age of 101. [name removed] and all staff were so kind and capable. Communication was excellent. Staff turnover was very low. The grounds and houses are gorgeous and always clean. Every time I went to visit, my aunt told me how well cared for she felt. I could not recommend a place more highly

The business is family owned and run by very caring people. They are very good at communicating with family. We are very blessed to have found this place through A Place for Mom.We would not have found this place except for you guys. They had a larger private room. The community was smaller with a higher care-taker ratio. It is more like a private home than a facility.They have two houses on the property. One is for more active ladies and the other (where mom is) is more for memory care and less active ladies.

We looked at a lot of places, and this one has a small community of residents. My loved one, loves it there and has made friends. It's a gorgeous, and wonderful place. I have had an awesome experince, and it gets no better than that. The perso who runs the place, is top notch and the staff does not change, they are great.

The tour was great and place was amazing. But I did not feel it would be a long term plan with my mamas behaviors.

When it came time to start thinking about placing my mom into an assisted living facility I was very scared. You always hear horror stories of your loved one not being taken care of, or neglected. Upon first entering Angels Garden I felt a certain level of peace. The facility was extremely clean and I saw several residents being cared for. My mom spent almost 8 years at Angles Garden, and while no place will ever be "Good Enough" for our loved ones I can say with comfort in my heart that my mom was truly loved and taken very good care of. I would without a doubt highly recommend Angels Garden to anyone who is looking for a place for your loved ones. You can be rest assured they will be very well taken care of and loved!

We were so blessed to place our mom here after many days of searching for the best place. Angels Gardens facility and the entire staff were absolutely professional, caring, friendly, understanding, patient, cooperative, sincere and most especially giving our mother the utmost care she deserved. The entire staff always willing to accommodate the needs of both our mother and our family and always attentive her needs. They all made sure our mother was comfortable and helped her to adjust in her new surroundings. They treated our mother for respect and dignity. They made the transition from our home to here very easy and comfortable. We recommend anyone needing help with there loved ones to checkout Angels Gardens as they would not be disappointed.

When we realized it was not safe for our Mother to stay in her home with round the clock care, we researched several places in our area. None were as beautiful and loving as Angel’s Garden. The facility is so nice and clean. We loved the fact that the facility had a “like home” feeling and not like a hospital. We visit all times during the day and always find Mother clean, engaged with a caregiver, resting in her room or in a group setting. The entire staff provides loving care to all of the residents. Outside nursing services speak highly regarding the care this facility provides their residents. Thank you Angel’s Gardens for providing excellent care to our Mom. We are truly blessed to have found such a great and loving facility with caregivers that provide constant loving and complete care. I would highly recommend this facility.

We placed our mom at Angels Garden for care In 2017. I can’t say enough good things about the facility or staff. They took very good care of my mom from cutting her hair to keeping her nails done. She was always clean and dressed when we visited. Unfortunately, my mom passed away from her illness but it was comforting to know she was cared for so well. Although it was not a easy decision to take my mom from her home we could no longer provide the 24/7 care she needed. I thank God there is such a wonderful home to take a loved one and have peace of mind and know they are safe and well cared for.

Angels Garden is wonderful. They took loving care of my Mom for more than 3 years. You could tell by her interactions with the caregivers that she liked them and felt safe. That gave me peace of mind, which is critical when you live hundreds of miles away. I also felt welcome during my monthly visits and enjoyed interacting with the other residents and caregivers. I highly recommend Angels Garden and only hope I find a place as good when I need care.

We moved our Aunt to Angels Garden just over a year ago. The care and attention she has received there from all of the Staff has been excellent. It is always difficult to see our family members age and decline with time. Angels Garden has given dignity to our Aunt in these times and encouragement to us. It is good to see the care that other residents get as well they all seem to be content there. The facility is always spotless and food is constantly being prepared. Fantastic place for Seniors.
