The Arbors is a great place. My mom loves it there. The staff is awesome and very attentive. We are in the process of having my uncle move there also.

Everyone there was wonderful and I could not ask for more. I would absolutely recommend The Arbors at Bohemia.

I am only familiar with Islandia East Safe Care, Exec director [names removed], wellness director are both very responsive to any concerns I voice; Definitely a 5 My communication is limited to the telephone as I live in California- but all staff members ( switch board's [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] are excellent , remember my name and immediately transfer me to Safe Care!) staff seems to be kind and helpful

They were great ; 1 thing that caused concern and I was stressed about: They just need to make sure upon admission that they understand the different medical coverages accepted when a person relocates into the facility from a hospital or wherever, etc... [name removed] at Arbors told us we didn't need a certain medical plan for brother [name removed] and then patient/resident ended up having to pay [fee removed] out of pocket for medication for 1 month. Arbors is really a great place for seniors needing daily assistance. Would highly recommend!

My mom was skeptical at first, but soon warmed up. (She passed [date removed].) The Arbors East/West might be under new management. I know some staff members left prior to [date removed]. I do hope the care and concern given to my mother is still a part of the facility. All staff enjoyed my mother, cared for her well, and she in turn cared for them. My mom was able to make friends easily, so I do believe that benefited her.

Excellent community. Warm and friendly employees. Great events. Beautiful rooms. A very happy place for mom. I highly recommend.

When I first arrived to meet with one of the directors, they were extremely helpful, informative, and kind. They gave us a full tour of the community, showing us the activities, rooms, dining area, and introducing us to the staff — including nurses, the cooks and came across maintenance, and the case managers. Every question we asked was answered thoroughly. We came to an agreement on a room, and the leadership team has also been very kind throughout the process. [name removed], the case manager, has been wonderful. I spoke with her about some issues regarding my father, and she provided clear answers and support. Anytime we’ve needed anything, the staff has been very helpful. Occasionally, it takes a follow-up call or two to get information or tasks completed, but I understand this may be due to the size of the community. Even so, they remain attentive and dedicated to the residents’ well-being. I would highly recommend them.

The staff is very cheerful, caring and professional. The abundance of activities and planning keeps the environment fulfilling for my mom.

We are unable to comment on the meals and dining, we know nothing about it as our loved one was not there long enough. Reasonable rate- didn't need the amenities that came with the more expensive places

It has been a wonderful experience from start to finish. Everyone from the sales team to administration to the care specialists are all really wonderful. I feel very comfortable with my dad being there and I know that he's getting a high level of care. The accommodations are very nice and it really is a beautiful facility. It is also well worth the money and they have a system where everything is all inclusive rather than trying to charge you every time your loved one has a different need. I really appreciated this because that allows us to budget.

Our loved one loves the food and joins in many of the activities. The only reason I gave a 4 for the value for money is that everything is a lot of money today, nothing against The Arbor

Everything was great! The facility/staff were friendly, looked after the needs of the residents, knew the family when visiting.

Brought a relative from out of state and very helpful with getting it done. I would recommend to others.

Listened to her needs. She has a beautiful double room with plenty of space and closets Facilities are immaculate and they check on her every 2hours at night. She is very involved in activities and outing’s. Made many friends and is 5 minutes from the family. She has adapted extremely well. Glad we found this facility

Warm, caring, thoughtful staff and does their best to ease the transition. My Mother blossomed there and enjoyed her 14 months there. She had her new friends, new activities and some independence.

My mom is a new resident and she couldn't be happier. This facility is a diamond in the ruff. It literally is a seniors happiest place on earth! From the staff to the residents to the activities, events, excursions, and happy hours, the Arbors has it all. Newly renovated and we'll designed - it's a pleaure to live there and visit. Amen for the Arbors!

The place is fantastic and so is the staff. They are talking great care of my mom. Just left the Halloween party they had for the residents. The staff is incredible. Thanks for the recommendation

Arbors Hauppauge is an exceptional assisted living facility. I gave a 4 out of 5 rating for activity ONLY bc there is no gym/exercise equipment on site, of which my brother and probably other residents would benefit from, on-site, not, treadmills and stationery cycling. Benefit from ON SITE, NOT at another location and having to travel to it....gym equipment such as treadmills/stationery bikes...

Great place I made the right choice. I picked them because, I just had a good feeling. I have already recommend to others.

Exceeded my expectations and my Mom is much happier here than she has been in a while. The staff if great!
