The facility was very clean and the staff was great. The only reason we left was because mom wanted to be at home. We would definitely go back there if or when the time comes.

This facility and its leadership value compassion, empathy and deep concern for all their residents. They are organized and knowledgeable about interactions with hospice and hospital care. They provide a safe and loving environment for all residents.

My Mother has been a resident of Atria Newport, for quite some time. We both feel that Atria Newport has a very homey feel. Everyone is so kind and warm. The entertainment for special occasions, is fabulous. The buffets for holidays, are fabulous. The care is so comforting. My Mother has never felt as cared for and safe. We love that it is a pet friendly environment, with an outdoor area, that is safe for dogs to walk around. The quality of everything, from the accommodations to the food is top notch. I highly recommend Atria Newport.

Atria has been good for my Mom. Transition is still difficult so questioning staff and directors about helping with that would have been helpful. I would recommend to others.

I moved my Mother to this facility after losing my Father. At first, I was nervous having had to make the decision for her. We have been very happy with our decision!! My Mom has made many friends and is happy. The staff is also kind, caring and attentive.

The entire staff from administration to the kitchen are all very kind and patient. It is kept very clean and my neighbor has made friends and is very happy there.

Staff has been very proactive in calling with any changes in my Mom's health and treating appropriately. A family member goes weekly and staff is always interacting with the patients. We are very pleased care.

Atria Newport Beach – Exceptional Care and Compassion? My dear friend of 55 years moved into Atria Newport Beach about two years ago, and I can say without hesitation that the care she has received has been nothing short of superb. From day one, the administration and staff have gone above and beyond to ensure she is not only well cared for, but also truly happy. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful, but what makes Atria exceptional is the people. Every member of the staff knows my friend by name and greets her with genuine warmth and kindness. Their attentiveness, compassion, and willingness to assist in any way have brought great peace of mind to me and immense joy to my friend.The dining experience at Atria is another highlight—it feels like dining in a gourmet restaurant. Meals are thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. They even go the extra mile to accommodate special food requests, making sure every detail is attended to with care.

The staff are wonderful! My mom has been a bit of a challenge and they have handled it beautifully. The food is good.. my mom loves it. The director gives great thought in assigning seats in the dining room to match people. Housekeeping not only do a good job with cleaning, changes linens and doing her laundry but are so kind. All staff have been so kind and respectful. The staff care not only about the residents but are so supportive of family as well. I highly recommend it

Village Green would be a 5 to each one. My mom was very very happy there. She felt at home and everyone that worked there she considered a friend, honestly. Even when her dementia worsened and she didn't remember them, they were so kind to her. I would show up often and they wouldn't know I was there and I never saw anyone treat her poorly. I'm so happy I found the Village Green because the time she spent there she was happy, she was well cared for and I would highly recommend!!!

Atria Draper Place has been a truly special home for my grandmother. From the moment she moved in, the staff made her feel welcomed, cared for, and valued. The environment is warm and inviting, and it’s clear that the team genuinely cares about each resident. She loves the daily activities and events—they keep her engaged, social, and happy. Whether it's art classes, music performances, or games, there's always something fun happening. The dining experience is another highlight—she often tells us how much she enjoys the lovely staff who serve them. One of the things I appreciate most is the peace of mind it gives our family. We know she is safe, comfortable, and surrounded by people who treat her with kindness and respect. The team is responsive, professional, and incredibly compassionate. Atria Draper Place has brought so much joy and stability to my grandmother’s life. We feel incredibly lucky to have found such a wonderful community for her.

The friendliness gets a 5+. Overall a very welcoming environment . The staff and the residents are so friendly, helpful, encouraging, supportive and kind. It started to feel like home in a short period of time.

This review is long overdue, but comes from the heart. In February, my mother spent a respite stay at Atria Aquidneck Place following a difficult accident. She had sustained multiple injuries - a broken and casted hand, fractured ribs, and a fractured pelvis - and was discharged from rehab sooner than expected. With her home more than an hour away from me in Portsmouth and concerns about her ability to cook, dress, or bathe safely on her own, I needed to find a safe, supportive place nearby - and Atria Aquidneck Place truly delivered. From the moment she arrived, she was embraced with warmth and care. [name removed] and [name removed] were incredibly welcoming - [name removed] even went above and beyond by personally furnishing and decorating a room for her, creating a space that felt like home. The entire team, from nursing and med techs to dining staff and front desk personnel, treated my mom with compassion, respect, and attentiveness. A special thanks goes to [name removed], the activities director, who helped her stay engaged with a wide array of fun and uplifting activities that brought her joy during her recovery. I can’t express enough gratitude to everyone at Atria for their kindness, professionalism, and the peace of mind they gave me during a stressful time. My mother still talks about how comfortable and cared for she felt - and when the time comes for her to make a permanent move, she has already said she wants to return to Atria Aquidneck Place. They went out of the way for us. The staff are wonderful and the care was superb! They kept in touch with me all the time, whether by phone or when I stopped by! I highly recommend Larson Place for family members!
