Benedictine

As I mentioned, our mother is in a good place physically and emotionally. She has gained a little weight which she is not happy about, she raves about the food. She feels safe taking a shower without assistance due to the safety features of the stall. She's enjoys the staff, even the maintenance person [name removed].

The facilitator was presented herself so well. She answered all our questions especially the finance questions. The rooms were very impound I truly am considering taking this facility. However I still have 2-3 more to visit before the decision is made.

I would give it a 5 because the staff (especially [name removed] and [name removed]) were so caring and patient. My parents both came in with high needs, but they adjusted what they could to meet their needs as well as could be expected. They didn't participate in many activities because they were so near the end, but the variety of options I noticed looked interesting and the food and cleanliness was very good. Old building, but clean.

Lovely place, greeted by several residents during our tour. All seemed very content. Very nice offering.

I was impressed with the community nestled in the countryside property of the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snow. As a longtime resident in this area I was surprised to discover the assisted living community hidden on the grounds. It is quite beautiful, in the natural surroundings, The tour was very informative and the staff friendly in every area. Most impressive for me is the longevity of the staff's employment which tells me that they are happy and enjoy their job of caring for our aging community.

The food needs improvement. Everything else was great. Wonderful staff all around. Activities good but could use more games or card games. A lot of bingo. Cleanliness was great and apartment size great

All would get a rating of 5 except for 6. Food. [name removed] makes his own meals. However I know the chef was very helpful in trying to create pepper-free meals for Perry (he has an allergic reaction to pepper). [name removed] also enjoys the variety of activities. We are both impressed that they have a committee of residents that determine where they will go out to eat in the community each month. The staff is really excellent.

The Towers tour was very nice and informative. We learned a lot and were shown a couple options for future living. That might be a place for us.

Everyone is so friendly. The experience for our Dad has been wonderful. It took a little while for his motorized chair to be delivered and everyone was so helpful with getting his package to him. On one occasion he had a Dr. Appointment and the chair had still not been delivered, the staff was so gracious and got him to the door of the Dr's office. We can say enough good things about this place he calls home.

The health care has been exceptional, but equally important has been the personal, emotional care and understanding. Responding to my mother's needs and the concerns of our family has been top-notch. Additionally, Benedictine's facility is beautiful and clean. I would highly recommend Benedictine Living Community Anoka to other families looking for a place for their loved one to live.

Very helpful during the difficult times of adjusting and also transitioning. So friendly and positive.

We visited, and it was close to where we lived. They had a 2 bedroom opening. They are almost at capacity. Great place.

I enjoyed my visit. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. Lunch smelled delicious and I loved the homemade cookies they sent home with me.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My MIL could walk in doors to her therapy at the hospital. The privacy of her apartment but also the access to staff, support, meals etc. we really appreciated the all inclusive offering of the temporary care option

[name removed] at the front desk is a rockstar. Always has a smile and exceeds expectations.

My parents were both residents of this community that also takes care of those in need of assisted living. My parents recently passed, but I was amazed at how caring and generous the staff is to not just the residents, but also their families that visit. I strongly endorse this facility!!

The staff was very dedicated to the residents comfort and care. Also helpful to the family during some of the hard times.

I love it. It felt good to be back in Winona, the town where I was born and grew up in. The person who gave us the tour was very friendly and knowledgeable. The units are very spacious and have lots of light. I am not ready for assisted living at present but maybe when they are ready for me, I will be ready for them.

We wrapped up our time with Benedictine last week, as both my parents have now passed away. I can tell you that Benedictine had a caring, supportive staff. They were so patient with my high need parents, and willing to go the extra mile to make their stay as comfortable as possible. Great leaders in [name removed] and [name removed], who investigated any issues we had and made changes where needed. Great team there.

The apartment is very spacious, food in the dining room is good, with bright open spaces with lots of windows. They have very friendly residents and staff. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.
