I cannot say enough about the wonderful care my husband has received at Emery Place. He is treated with dignity,compassion and friendliness by everyone he comes in contact with on a daily basis. Visiting family members are treated equally well. My husbands interests and capabilities are always considered and appropriately implemented by all staff. He is served wonderfully prepared and nutritious meals in a “home cooked” environment. The efforts of the staff has culminated in a true “home” with comfort,happiness and security for Gary. And, I believe, the other residents at Emery Place. Thank you.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. There were many activities offered that my wife seemed to enjoy. I was also very clean.

Our family toured 5 assisted livings in our area and chose River Valley. Warm, kind, and helpful every visit. Grandma is all settled in now and we all still get the same warm friendly helpful treatment especially her. She also loves their home cooked meals. The staff and care provided has brought us so much peace and comfort. Looking back I wish we hadn’t waited so long.

Our situation was a little different from most. Our dad was 93. He was in really bad health. We had never dealt with assistant living before. Actually after a few days we realized it should have been a nursing home. But they agreed to try to help us out for one month. They got him into therapy and got him extra help. He kept declining. They kept him there. He passed two weeks later. We knew this was going to happen it was just more than we could handle at home. They went above. And beyond what they needed to do. They even got us hooked up with hospice

I toured this community 2 years ago and came back with my dad just last [date removed]. Wow what great improvements. The entire feel of the facility was so much brighter. The new management and staff have really done an amazing job at creating a welcoming environment.

Many of the staff have experienced a loved one with alzheimers. Every staff member i experienced was patient, caring and understanding.

The staff are very attentive and friendly. The food is good. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

They were one of the only facilities in the area that allowed the independent spouse to move in as a second person and be with the disabled spouse that needed care. [name removed] is a fantastic director. Very friendly, helpful, and available. Favorite careworker is ;name removed]. Shes very dedicated and loves the residents.

Great place to work filled with fun engaging activities and friendly residents that are enjoyable to be around. Would recommend to anyone looking for a Senior Community where the residents and staff are truly valued.

Staff is very nice and attentive. Facility is nicely kept. It's very nice to have a doctor come there and the hairdresser there used to work with my mom many years ago.

My father in law was in pretty bad shape when he went there. They kept him in the assistant living. They would work with him and checked on him more than was required. They knew we could not afford the constant care. In the back of our minds we knew he was getting close to the end. We were just hoping they could help us find a way to make him better. They were awesome. They tried physical therapy and more. They finally talked to us about Hospice. They came for extra help. Everyone was awesome. River Valley staff kept working with Hospice. They kept us informed what was going on when we were not there. They were all awesome.

What we like the most about Apple Valley is the staff and friends, and our loved one can have her cat which is a plus. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

When looking for a place for my grandma I was so pleased with the Rivers. They would answer my questions, their Nurse would answer my phone calls no matter the time of day. The staff are so kind and the residents seem so happy.

It felt very homey. Everyone was friendly. Dad and I were invited to have lunch there. Everything is on one floor. Always care givers around. Other places were nice but felt like I was in a hotel. He would have been on the 2nd floor with the dining room on the first floor. I saw very few people around.

This was the first time we had had an experience with assistant living. After the first month we realized our dad probably needed more help than we realized. They were very helpful with us and kept him there. They helped us get extra help for him. He was a 94 year old. He really enjoyed all the workers. We could call or visit at anytime.

My mom unexpectedly went from mild dementia to moderate and started wandering and eloping. We are private pay while in the Medicaid look back period and have been struggling to find anything in our budget. River valley was our blessing and we are able to cover the majority of her care while knowing she was in a very good and well-staffed place.

I would say that the staff is very good with the residents - very mindset on making sure they are taken care of - willing to help. Husband felt more comfortable with Emery Place - felt more like home- not huge facility where he could get lost.

My mom has lived at Pearl City Place for 17 months. It is a very warm and homey atmosphere. She really likes it. She has a lot of friends there. The director and nurse are very good and caring. The nurse is a RN and there full time. The director is also a LPN nurse. The activity director does a lot of things with the residents like Bingo, birthday parties, painting nails, movies, games and more. They just got a bus a few months ago. She has taken them on outings to movie, art museum, Discovery Center, lunch outing and Festival of Trees. They have had breakfast with cops and firemen too. They have two cooks that are very good. One of the cooks is a Chef. We are very pleased with the management at Pearl City Place.

Everything has been great so far. Communication with the family has been really great. They've responded well to my loved one's requests. The staff is always very responsive to her and her needs. My loved one enjoys the activities, especially the music. Housekeeping is done weekly and I've heard no complaints. They take care of her medications and get them to her daily. I would recommend this facility to friends and family.
