Cedarhurst worked with us for over a year to get to know our special needs sister to determine if Cedarhurst would be a good fit. They were both compassionate and professional. Cedarhurst proudly supports true community interaction and has a great home-like feel for a good sized facility. It does not have a sterile "luxury hotel" vibe. Staff and management appear to work as a great team.

Beautiful facility. A Place for Mom is a wonderul tool in starting the Assisted Living/Memory Care process. Time is our most valuable asset.

The staff is friendly and seem to have the attitude of wanting to serve and be helpful in contrast to being bothered by your needs. I get the sense they realize the residents are in a vulnerable time in their life and need understanding and patience. The facility is clean and seems to be well run. The staff has been courteous to our family even though we've been visiting a lot (and probably underfoot) during our mom's first month here. They put nice effort into having stimulating and interesting activities and encouraging the residents to participate without being overbearing about it. The receptionist set a good tone; for the moment you walk in you feel welcome.

Nice accommodations. Staff answered questions i had at the time. A thorough tour was appreciated. Every staff member I came in contact with greeted me warmly.

Everything is great! The staff is wonderful! They all make all us feel at home. The activities are great and she has already done a number of them even though she is on the shy side! The latest was making tomato soup and grilled cheese! The food is delicious, we ate with her the first day and it was wonderful! Everything is clean. When you walk in the fireplace is on and it makes you feel like you are at home or on vacation! Apartment size is perfect. So easy to get through the doorways and into the shower.

What we like the most about the community is that the staff are very responsive to any issue that arises. She's very happy there and we would absolutely recommend this community to others. I'm actually there right now with mom and we are enjoying one of their many activities. She's loving it. my place for mom representative was [name removed] and he was incredible. He made a tough situation so much better with his assist.
