They didn't really have memory care. Their building wasn't secured. It was on the lake but I didn't care for their sales person. She never would call me back and she kept my mother's medical records - I never got them back. She never called to tell me that they really couldn't accommodate her needs so I gave up on them.

The price is really good which was the main reason it attracted us, they have assisted living and skilled nursing the issue is assisted living did not have the level of care we needed going forward. They were also very unorganized. One of our main issues was that they do not adhere to any dietary restrictions or have special menus. There were some really good aspects as well. I think it would be a great place for someone who does not need as much care. But for someone who needs a lot of care or a specific diet, it is probably not the best fit.

This is not the place for care if your loved one needs help eating. Our parent was hospitalized for dehydration that caused UTI while in isolation due to pandemic. Phones not answered and if love one to weak to answer their personal phone you don't know their condition. Look for alternative care.

Security is a major concern, there was never any paperwork on file about my Mom, my Mom loves to sing and the activity director would not allow her to sing, many residents complained about the food. I will never recommend Ridgecrest to anyone!

If I could give a negative rating I definitely would. This place is truly atrocious on so many different levels. The safety aspect for it to be considered a secured memory care facility is a complete joke. There were multiple times I went to visit my loved one and I would not see a staff member in the lobby/open areas or upstairs in or around the nurses station. There were times I was in with my loved one for multiple hours and not one tech or nurse would walk by let alone come in and check one her like they were supposed to be doing since they were a fall risk memory care patient. There were many times that my loved one went multiple hours (5+) without their diaper being checked or let alone changed. Even though the state of Texas says they must be changed at minimum every 2 hours and more frequently if there is visible signs of an accident. There were multiple times my loved one was not offered/fed meals, and the meals they did feed they did not follow her agreed procedures in whic

This is not a place for you to leave your loved one. This facility is very short on staff. Staff is very unattentive to the residents there. They tend to leave residents in middle of hallway soiled all day. A very strong odor of urine reeks the halls. I've personally walked through the halls contenuiously hearing patient's cry for help while being completely ignored. I've noticed roaches crawling during mealtime. Again this place is horrible. Don't make the mistake of leaving someone you love in this place.
