Florence of Seattle

I would say how much I appreciate the proactive communication from the owner when any issue occurs. My mom is clean and cared for, the food is good and the price is much cheaper compared to my where she was before. I found this place based on a recommendation from A Place For Mom. My mom had previously been at Aegis West Seattle and the price had been significantly increased 3 times over the course of 20 months while the care had drastically decreased, little to no communication and continuous staff turnover.

Staff are friendly and seem to genuinely care about the residents. They proactively communicate even when there are no issues. They have collaborated with me to come up with solutions in caring for my mom. They seem very experienced (and patient) in dealing with ALZ/dementia residents. They focus on care instead of calculating points to administer care. The home is clean as are the residents. I'm THANKFUL everyday that my mom was able to move there.

The staff at Florence of Seattle Arbor Heights is over the scale outstanding. They are just phenomenal at keeping me up to date on any details. The staff really communicates well with me. The cuisine is unbelievable. My Aunt would not even eat at the other facility and now I hear she is eating like a truck driver. I am incredibly impressed with the staffs kindness. I would give them a 10 on everything. They are just over the top good here.

This care facility is kind and caring. It is run by a first rate director that is hands on. It is clean, has activities and field trips. I am so happy that my mom is there

Florence of Seattle is a wonderfully warm and cozy home for my mom. They are providing great individualized care for her. They are very welcoming when we come to visit mom. The staff is taking good care of her and I feel good about the care they are providing her. She hasn't said anything about the food but seems to be gaining weight, so I know she is eating well. They have plenty of activities they encourage her to participate in such as, putting puzzles together, reading stories, and they take her for walks outside to enjoy the flowers and beautifully kept grounds around the home. I would definitely recommend Florence of Seattle to others. I also want to thank A Place For Mom's advisor [Removed] for all of her help in finding a place for mom!

When we first walked into this home, my mother did not like it. It was dark and did not feel very welcoming. Everyone there was nice, and they could have been very good for all we know, but it was not what we were looking for.

When i toured this place is was lovely at first and the manager was quite persuasive. But after multiple calls from my mother and complaints, I needed to protect her. Please reconsider.
