Management lives on site. They are remodeling the first floor, including the dining room. It's very clean. There are many activities each week.

I was looking for a place for my cousin who was in assisted living but really didn't need all the restrictions they provided. Steeplechase was a perfect fit for her. The atmosphere was so homey and the food was delicious. We were immediately welcomed by the friendly, helpful staff. She got a place on the first floor with access to a small patio outside. She is involved in several activities and appreciates having the salon on site for haircuts. The freedom provided by the van transportation services is great. They are very accommodating when she has appointments or wants to shop. I just spoke with her the other day and she expressed how grateful she is to have found this place to live.

The place was clean. Plenty of activities for the residents in and outside the facility. Very accommodating and have extra options available for the residents to stay longer before going to assisted living or nursing home.

The residents seemed engaged and the staff truly seemed helpful and kind The facility itself is beautiful clean and filled with light.

Hudson Estates is a beautiful place. Very warm and inviting. Liz gave us an extensive tour, plus lunch. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. This place is definitely on my short list.

The biggest concern has been the food quality. The vegetables are often too mushy and the meals tend to be overly salty. We spoke with the chef, who mentioned that corporate switched to a lower-cost food distributor, which unfortunately shows in the quality. As a result, the meals are not as good as we had hoped. On the other hand, the activities are excellent—this is one of the standout features. There’s a wide variety, and my mom truly enjoys participating in them. Another challenge is the dining structure. My mom doesn’t eat breakfast and occasionally skips dinner, though she regularly attends lunch. It would be much more practical if there were a flexible meal plan—something like a college-style system where you have a card with a set amount of money to use as needed, with the ability to reload it and roll over unused funds. As it stands now, unused meals feel like wasted money that could otherwise go toward rent. That said, we really do love the community overall. The staff and residents are wonderful, my mom feels safe, and she truly enjoys the activities and amenities.

Mom's move in was delayed due to a medical emergency. The staff had everything ready for my husband and I to prep her room for her. They delivered her meals to her until she was able to come to the dining room on her own. The admin staff checks in with me every time I come in to ensure her needs are met. The few maintenance issues have been addressed and corrected quickly and the staff chatted with mom and made her comfortable when they were in her room. We could not be more pleased and grateful!

My great aunt is really enjoying living at Sanford Estates. She said the food is great as well as the activities. She moved into a studio and it's quite spacious for a studio! It's the perfect location for her, and she's happy as can be with her new accommodations!

This is a very caring facility.

I toured Heatherwood when they first opened (2014 I believe) and when I toured last week the facility looked as fresh as I remembered. The residents and staff are very friendly and there is a real "homey" atmosphere about the place. There are lots of activities and outings planned for residents and the best thing is it's all planned for you. I firmly believe this will be my new home once I have pared down my belongings.

I recently toured Scholl Canyon Estates while searching for an independent living community for my mother. Overall, I was very impressed with both the environment and the staff. The facility is exceptionally well-maintained and clean. It has a peaceful, generally quiet atmosphere that makes it feel like a true home rather than a "facility." The standout feature, however, was the staff. Every person I met was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and informative. They were patient with my questions and provided clear details about the transition process and the services available. While my mother ultimately chose a different community based on her personal preference for a specific layout, Scholl Canyon was a top contender. I highly recommend it to any family looking for a friendly, tranquil, and well-kept senior living option.

A Place for Mom was helpful &fast in fi ginger options for me. They set up the tour, I am currently in a nursing/Rehabilitation. Hudson Estates allowed my son to tour & video call me while on tour.[Name removed] was wonderful, answered all our questions. She got paperwork & lease together quickly. I am looking forward to transitioning to Hudson Estates and my new home, that will be close to my son.

Easy access off main road , good parking, clean inside and outside, good management, nice dining area

My only negative about stoneridge is no laundry in apt. And no air in bedroom except a fan from living blowing into bedroom

Maintenance is equally outstanding. Whenever I’ve needed assistance, the response has been prompt and reliable. It’s clear that care and responsiveness are a priority here. There’s almost always a game to be enjoyed. Whether it’s a round of cards, Rummikub, canasta, or bingo, there’s a wonderful variety of activities that bring people together. These moments add so much fun and camaraderie to daily life and are a big part of what makes this community feel so lively and connected. Overall, this is a place where people truly go above and beyond, and it shows in every aspect of the experience.
