Great staff, friendly residents, clean facility, beautiful apartments, well worth the cost in a great area! It has been a great experience from beginning to present, with no regrets. I'm so happy I found such a clean, loving, welcoming environment for my father, to say the least, as he's still able to function on his own. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is still able to live on their own without needing nurses on site.

I really like The Gardens so far, after visiting other places and coming here it was a big improvement. There is a community room here but all of the activities are resident driven. Everything is expensive these days but the value for the money is good and based on the experience I have had so far I would recommend them to other families.

This is a lovely community, and my father in law is doing very well since his move here. Everything is working out great, and we are very satisfied. All the staff is great, the maintenance man, and the director have been very helpful. He is doing well, and this is a community I would highly recommend.

Being from out-of-state, my daughter and granddaughter toured the facility ahead of my arrival. They fell in love with the place, and so did I. My apartment was Just like brand new, with new paint, carpet, and new tile in the kitchen and bath. I like that it is on the first floor, and I have my own private enclosed patio for getting sunshine and growing a few plants. I look forward to many happy days ahead. Price below is plus electric, cable, and internet.

Everyone has been very helpful, however the staff need more support staff, since this is a new facility and they've experienced delays and obstacles in opening- Carrie and Rich have been very helpful. I think that all the activities are still being formulated. They held a nice "meet and greet" mtg. I heard there is a Senior Ctr. down Long Pond Rd. offering a Thanksgiving Dinner. Could Gardens provide a bus there for those who are unable to drive any longer?<br />Several doors, such as to the Comm. Rm., Trash Rooms, Laundry Room and Hall Bathrooms need blue square handicap buttons installed to push, so those with walkers can get into them.<br />My mother is very happy with her apt. One thing still needs to be rechecked, however. Her kitchen fan and light work, but are very loud. David and Rich said a construction guy needed to check them out for defects and safety-<br />Thanks.

It's very clean, and the staff is really friendly. This is independent so there is not really any care services. They have a coffee hour in the morning so the residents can get together and have coffee if they want to. They have bingo, and shuttles, a few times a week, and different mostly social activities. It's a great place, she loves it.

Very happy, Mom's happy! Staff...Fran and Mike are wonderful! Just moved in and entire process was painless. Complex is in excellent condition.

I have resided at the Gardens since it opened and am quite happy here. Like anywhere else there have been issues but managememt has handled each with diligence while maintaining confidentiality. I personally have been very involved in the community to maintain and improve the qualituy of life for all the residents. Location can't be beat--the facility is within walking distance of 5 area banks, Wegmans and Aldi's, the YMCA, Walgreens, a couple of restaurants and achurch or 2. The Town Hall grounds are close by and a bus can be called to transport residents to the senior center. There are many rersident -run activities to partake in-for example-bingo, crafts, potkluck dinners, pizza partoestoname a few. The people that live here are more than just a neighbor--we are an extended family! I grew up in the Greece area-attended Greece schools and my former in-;aws lived jusr north of the GTown Hall c omplex so I feel like I have 'cpme home's living at the Hardens.

The staff are attentive to tenants needs, but they have a difficult time keeping maintenance workers because they don't pay well. Outside needs are somewhat neglected (keeping up the outside building).

Gardens at Town Center saved my wife [name removed] and I from being street people. We were hours away, caused by [name removed] reneging on their promise. We will be forever grateful!

My mom is 92 and absolutely loves it at Gardens at Town Center. She was at her previous residence for thirty years and was very hesitant on moving; now she says she wishes she'd moved to the Gardens years ago. They have daily / weekly activities. She has made several friends. And the Community Leader, Carrie Valone, is awesome. She is professional, caring, and very involved with the residents.

This place is a great location and seems like it could be a fit

Very quiet inside and out. Very clean and maintained well Some activities. Trips to wegmans and other stores (field trip)every other week A little too much middle of nowhere for me

Overall, I was pleased with the entire operation. The grounds were very neat, the building itself was very clean and blessedly quiet. There was not very much activity/busy-ness, but there were tenants around who enjoyed their living experience there (I asked!)[Removed] was informative and professional-very positive experience overall.

Nice place, friendly people. Lots of activity. The apartments themselves are nice and modern, full of sunlight-a plus in Rochester!

My relative has lived here a short time but so far is happy. The staff is really great and helpful. The building is large but self-enclosed. For those with mobility problems, choosing the right apartment may be helpful, or investing in a scooter, as it is quite a distance from one end to the other. There are elevators and everything is indoors, so no need to go outside in rain or snow, which is a big plus. The common room is very nice and the location is beautiful. There are a lot of ponds around, and the building backs up to a forest. There are some activities but not as many as some other communities might have. Things like foot care are offered on site once a month. The buildings are mostly quiet. The copper pipes make clicking noise with the heating. The building is kept very very warm. There are 2 pharmacies close by but the nearest that offers mail delivery is the Rite Aid on Chili avenue. The location is fairly far from grocery stores and other amenities, as it is in an outer suburb.

Would probably take this if I were not so close to the financial ceiling; rooms a little small. Wonderful surroundings; like very much. The director was very helpful.

I've had a horrible experience at Gardens at Town Center. The activities are full of cliques. The cliques sit on one side of the room, and don't socialize with the other residents that come to join the activities. There are cable and electricity bills. The community didn't inform me of these charges until after I signed the paperwork. The community took three weeks to get all of my paperwork taken care of and this was very difficult. This is because the community pushed the date so they would give me the rent increase. The contract was stated a price, and I've spoken with management and they aren't willing to honor the correct price that is on the contract. They are making me pay the higher amount. I would like for the money to be corrected, and to refund the money plus interest to me, and not to get rent credit. The community doesn't do a good job in maintaining the sidewalks during snow or cutting the grass. Maintenance is only available Monday through Friday, and they don't work on weekends. I love my apartment; however, it would be nice to not speak to staff or other residents. I wouldn't recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

My Dreadful Experience ! The following is true - I do have photoAnd important if considering love ones I suffered years of constant cigarette smoking inside apartments ! In spite that it is a non smoking property Marijuana & cigar smoking complaints also in building ! Cigarette & cigar smoke pours into my apartment - through cold air intake - My lungs are sore - constant headaches - apartment smells After multiple complaints on all levels - No enforcement by management - heavy cigarette, cigar & marijuana smoking still continues as of today The walls are paper thin - especially the bedroom Loud & disruptive arguing - I have experienced up to 1:45 am Police are frequently here Over 50 tenants deaths since my residency & other disturbing activity Built on an Indian Burial ground - told to me by management Multiple ghosts captured on my (motion detected) video surveillance system night vision I know neighbors with bug infestations - ongoing In my opinion & from my personal experience- this is the worse place I have ever lived I moved in expecting to stay forever - now I can't wait to get out I am Very disappointed & shocked by all the ongoing - problems here 55+ but there are all ages living here
