Wyncote place really feels like a family; I notice that all members of the staff are willing to go above and beyond even when something might not be "their job" traditionally.

I was very impressed with the facility. It was bright and clean and the staff were very friendly. They have a lot of programs to keep the residents engaged and everyone seems happy. The grounds and view of the lake were lovely.

Staff attentively listened and answered all questions thoughtfully. The residents whom I observed in memory care seemed well tended and content enough. Separate buildings based on level of care is a nice touch.

Everyone that works here, from the woman who gave the tour to the chef, housekeeper, and activity director were friendly and inviting. My mom and I observed their behavior towards residents and found them to be genuinely warm and friendly even when they didn’t realize we were watching. We ate lunch with the residents. They greeted us warmly and explained the menu options, which had a good variety. Our food was delicious. The experience was like eating in a restaurant with a crowd of new friends. My mom was pleased with the closet space and window size in the apartment. The facility was clean. The gray paint everywhere is a little drab, but everything else was pleasing.

I’m looking for a place for my sister. The facility was quaint and quiet. The administrative staff was very helpful. There were no vacancies at the moment, but you could go on the waitlist. We did not have an opportunity to observe social activities nor lunch. Pricing was reasonable.

Came to visit my uncle. Was very impressed how the community is decorated for Christmas! The managers were so helpful and could tell they really love their job. Can’t wait to enjoy Christmas lunch with my uncle.

I moved here after living in assisted living, and it has been such a positive change. I love that I can truly live independently while still having a care company on site if I ever need support. It gives me peace of mind without feeling like I’m giving up my independence. The apartments are beautiful, comfortable, and well cared for, I love having a full kitche again and I finally feel like I have my own home again. The staff is friendly,allowing us to live life on our own terms. Having access to care on site without being at the mercy of assisted living has made all the difference for me. It’s the perfect balance of independence and support, and I couldn’t be happier living here. It's also way more affordable.

We moved our mother in recently from rehab and the residents made her feel right at home! They invited her to events and made sure to save her a seat at the lunch table. Even one of the managers helped her organize and decorate her room. Thank you!

I was very impressed with windlamds especially the game room, dining room, and the friendliness of everyone I met. The apartments were very nice at a good price Layout was also very Good.

Loved the built-in cabinets in the rooms and it seemed clean and well maintained. Sales person seemed very knowledgeable and helpful to us. We liked that there was a wing for memory care too, when needed.

My mom moved from NY to be near us. She can't drive so the best perk is the GW bus that takes her on errands & doctors' appointments. She has a big social life attending outings & is in 5 clubs. Staff is super friendly & accommodating & the events coordinator is loved by all residents. There is a biweekly cleaning service & they wash sheets! There is even an in-house hairdresser. The units have a washer/dryer. Maintenance comes in a timely manner if there is a problem. The residents dining room serves breakfast/lunch/dinner 24/7. The food needs a bit more variety but there is a monthly meeting with chef to discuss new & different ideas. If mom doesn't want to go to the dining room, her apartment has a full functioning kitchen. They offer a free device for emergencies & will check up on residents if they feel the need. Mom is fully independent yet has an in-house network to rely on without having to leave the complex. She is safe & among friends .Best feature for me is peace of mind!

After a lengthy search for a new residence for our family member, finding The Gardens at Wakefield through a trusted referral was like winning the jackpot! From the time we toured to the transition of living at the Gardens at Wakefield, we have had a wonderful experience. This community is intentional about ensuring residents are cared for, known, and engaged in community activities. Their ambassador program for new residents is a wonderful asset while transitioning into this community. We are incredibly grateful for he support and attention our family member has gotten. Special kudos to [name removed] and [name removed] for all the individual attention they have provided! There are numerous options of activities offered on a daily basis as well as social activities like music concerts and dances. So much to do at the Gardens and it is apparent that the residents are engaged and enjoy all there is to offer. I highly recommend the Gardens at Wakefield- a true gym in the Wake County area!

The staff are very caring and attentive. When I first stepped foot in Windsor Ridge, I felt at home because the staff are so friendly. They also have an outstanding activities program. Really love it here!

My friend used A Place For Mom and they found Creekside Terrace for her. She loves all the people and the staff. She says all the staff care about their residents and all the residents are so welcoming. She loves the food and all of the activities.

Creekside Terrace feels just like home. The activities are so much fun and entertaining. We have the best parties ever! The staff treats you like family and I couldn’t be happier living here. I would recommend this community to anyone!

This was an unannounced visit to a resident that lives at Creekside Terrace. They offered me to stay for lunch and it was great. The waitstaff were friendly. I would recommend this community to my loved ones.

Creekside Terrace is one of my favorite independent living communities to take clients. They are an incredible partner and treats everyone with respect and patience. This is a very active community with lots of planned activities for residents and I love that most apartments have a patio or balcony!
