Mom has lived in 2 other similar houses. This is the only one where the owner is concerned about the well-being of residents, and isn't just out to make $. The first such house returned our deposit, I assume because the owner knew staff and management hadn't lived up to their end of the bargain. 2 residents can't do anything and probably have little memory. It doesn't matter / they are moved to the den every day so they aren't left secluded. Full feast for thanksgiving and Christmas (never happened at the other houses) - and ALL residents were included in activities, including a gift exchange. One man at the previous location was able to communicate, but he was never in the public area. Easier to leave him in bed than use the hoyer or another means to move him. Very sad.

My mother was in [name removed] care for almost 15 years. I am so grateful to them for the excellent care my mother had until she passed on Friday. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Greenfield Residential, and frankly, I consider the staff, [name removed], and [name removed] as part of our family.

The quality of care we have received here is far and above what I ever hoped for. Since Mom has dementia, she is unable to report back to us on her care, which made us very concerned about placing her somewhere. She would be very vulnerable to neglect and/or abuse. However, at this home under Epi's care and supervision, we NEVER worry about Mom. She is receiving the best care I can imagine. She is always clean, healthy, and in good spirits when we visit, which tells us all we need to know. We feel incredibly blessed to have found her home here.

The owner, [name removed], is so full of love and compassion. The people who work in her homes are chosen with care and are respected and loved. My mother loved being there and felt like it was her own home. Even though my mother had dementia and was forgetting her family, one by one, she still knew she was loved and in a safe place. I am thankful she could live out her days in this environment. When we couldn't see her during Covid, we knew she was in a good place, safe, protected, and loved.

The staff members at this community are a five plus as well as the value. The community is calm like a home setting, its very welcoming, inclusive, comfortable with a lot of natural lights and big windows. The rooms are just perfect, you can bring your own decorations, they can be personalized for each residents. Our loved one shares a room, it is split and very adequate.

They staff were very caring. The owner listened and followed through. We were very satisfied with placement. The food was okay for the palettes most people. The community was a lovely and roomy. It was always clean and well maintained.

The Family's Choice is a perfect fit for my loved one. She is always clean and well cared for - and she is very content and happy there. The staff is well-trained, professional, loving and compassionate. The staff-to-resident ratio enables them to be highly attentive and whenever we drop in, they are actively engaged with the residents. [Removed], the owner, is an RN who has owned this home for nearly two decades and has a stellar reputation. She inspires confidence and is an outstanding communicator. The house is spotlessly clean. We feel very fortunate to have found The Family's Choice and to have made the decision to place our loved one here.

This facility is outstanding and my loved one is doing very well here. The staff members are well trained, excellent communicators and compassionate caregivers. Every time I drop in unannounced I find the staff actively engaged with the residents. My loved one is always clean and dressed in clean, appropriate clothing. They have set a predictable schedule that is very successful for her. The house is clean and well maintained. The staff actively works to engage and provide stimulation for the residents. They are attentive to her medical conditions and have contacted me when they have concerns or questions. The owner is actively involved on a daily basis. The staff is tenured and has regular training. We are very blessed to have found and selected The Family’s Choice.

The Family's Choice II experience for my mom was amazing. It is a beautiful and clean home. The staff is very attentive and supportive. I think they provided great companionship for my mom which helped her to make a complete turn-around from when she first moved in. They provided 24-hour care for the residents. They provided a lot of good food. The residents all ate their meals together. The Family's Choice has an amazing staff. I had a very good feeling just talking with Joy, who is truly amazing. They were very instrumental in the transition of my mom getting so much better. She bounced back under their loving care and she is happier than I have seen her in years. We have moved her from The Family's Choice to an assisted living community where she can be fully active. She recently told me she is going on a trip to go and do some shopping. I would highly recommend this community to friends and family.

I am very happy with my mother's care at this very nice community. The community is very clean and maintained. We are happy with the meals and the variety. They are a lot of nice activities for the residents that can participate. We would recommend the care and the good variety of meals to other families.

My mother has been here since 2009. She has had incredible care, and the staff here are an absolute God-send. Everyone here is amazing, and they are truly an answer to prayer, and I view Eppie as a member of our family.

We are really pleased in general with The Jackson @ Woodhurst. We especially like Martha, the business manager. She is quite cheerful and perky. The visiting nurses have done a better job than the hospital personnel. They were able to heal her head wound when the hospital staff couldn't. One suggestion that I would make is for this facility to have some kind of music therapy with student musicians or volunteers. This has proven helpful with Alzheimer's patients. I was very pleased that the staff accommodated my mother-in-law's parakeets. She was able to bring them with her and the residents love them. I am pleased overall with the care she receives here.

The Family's Choice II is wonderful. The whole atmosphere at this facility is loving and kind. The caregivers are amazing. They are patient. The facility is clean. I love it and my husband loves it too. He is very happy at this facility.

My father has been here almost two months and I couldn't be happier with the house and care that he has received. The staff is very responsive when needed and I've never seen the house in disarray. I did not know that this type of facility existed and am so glad that A Place for Mom referred me to it.

Knowing I needed to move my mother from a memory care facility to a private group care home, I reached out to A Place for Mom for help. They were courteous and caring and very willing to work within my schedule. I was contacted by several caregivers. I visited one home and was very impressed. However, I had an appointment at a second home the next day and didn't want to cancel at the last minute. The second home was very nice also, but a little out of my way. The owner, Joy, was at the home and after talking with me about my mother's needs, she said Oh, I wish you could see the house off of Greenville. I was definitely interested and she drove me there that very day. I was so impressed. Jackson's Place is a beautiful home. It is spacious, inviting and the caregiver I met that day, Chela, was so caring and warm. I moved my mother in the next weekend. During the move everyone was so helpful. Joy was able to put me in touch with other providers my mother would need after the move...a new doctor, a new pharmacy (that delivers at no charge) and even someone to help move. My mother seems to be adjusting well and she appears happy, contented and well cared for. I visit her often and unannounced and the home has always been immaculate. The residents are clean and happy. This is a very stress free environment. I highly recommend A Place for Mom if you need help researching your options for assisted care for your loved one. They definitely got the job done for me and I appreciate all of their help. They have their finger on the pulse for this type of care and they can deliver on their promises.

I have visited numerous times since moving mom in. I am pleased in every way. My only regret is that I waited so long in moving her. She is very happy.

On my first visit I was welcomed by caring staff in a bright airy and clean atmosphere where all residents were together in the living room. From day one I found the staff to be very friendly, caring, and loving to residents and their families. The food aromas were enticing to me and better still. encouraged my mom's appetite, I thank God for leading me to this wonderful "home" for my mom. The caregivers and residents have become like "family" to me. This was definitely the best choice for us.

My Mom is cared for in a loving and caring environment and she feels like she is in her home. Excellent care. Calming environment. Loving caregivers . Very pleased.
