I recently attended a Sunday brunch at The Kensington while visiting a friend’s mom and was so impressed. The community was immaculate, the staff were warm and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the live music made the brunch feel extra special. A truly wonderful experience all around.

When I entered this community, I was immediately greeted by a warm, friendly, and vibrant atmosphere that felt like home from the very first moment. Everyone I met was genuine, kind, and down-to-earth — not just “nice,” but truly present and welcoming in a way you can’t fake. After touring several other communities owned by large Wall Street corporations, the difference here was undeniable. The personal touch, the sense of heart, and the connection you feel from a privately owned and operated community is something you simply won’t find anywhere else. What impressed me most was the number of staff available to support and care for the residents. Their staffing levels far exceeded any of the other places I visited, and it shows — in the attentiveness, the smiles, the gentleness, and the way they take time with each resident as if they were family. I left feeling grateful, relieved, and excited. What an extraordinary place for my mom and dad to live — a true five-star community!

When it came to taking care of our dad we felt strongly we needed not only the highest quality memory care, but also great food, warm staff and an environment that we would enjoy spending time in when we visit, and also feel content and relaxed we weren't there, knowing he was in great hands. This community checks every box. It oozes quality all the way around and we are able to have family meals together every evening at no charge, ever. We are just so happy with our choice.

We toured this community and three others. This one stood out above the rest. The food was amazing, and the entire staff were warm and smiling and seemed happy to be there. We know they will take excellent care of our mom.

This beautiful community is entirely dedicated to memory care. The staff were all happy and smiling when we toured, and the residents were all out of their apartments, doing activities, and engaging with the their caregivers. The environment was so warm, vibrant and really inviting and our lunch was absolutely delicious! This community has more staff per resident than any other we toured and has nurses who are awake and physically in the building 24 hours a day, every day. A wonderful community!

The Kensington Reston is well run. The atmosphere and people are very pleasant. I highly recommend!

The Highlands is gorgeous, the staff is friendly, and the food is excellent!

My husband rebounded from 2-person assist to independence! It is expensive, but caring for a 2-person assist resident takes a lot of work.

All of them are a 5! We love KP and are so glad Mom is there. The Staff are all just wonderful. Very caring, kind, friendly, attentive, absolutely super. The residents are great. And the food is lovely. The building is immaculate.

. Although I can say nothing bad about The Kensington 14K per month for any care facility in the US is too much. So I think I am more disappointed in the American care system than anything else. Absolutely loved the facility and the care they gave my mother.

We toured The Kensington Reston during our search for an Assisted Living facility for my loved one. This facility was really special! However, it was on another planet in terms of cost.

The Kensington is better than the other communities I have been in. The community is exemplary. The responsiveness of the staff is wonderful! The staff respond quickly to the call buttons when pushed by the residents. The staff are cordial to my loved one, and have developed a rapport with them. The staff interaction with the family has been great! They are willing to meet with the family anytime that we need, and this goes for the management team as well. They are willing to partner with the family to ensure that our loved one is receiving the care they need. There is entertainment almost daily to entertain the residents. The activities overall are fabulous. The physical and occupational therapy has made great strides in assisting my loved one in making progress to regain their strength.

This community was too expensive, no outdoor area, and no smoking. The sales associates were all very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Our job market after covid makes it easy for the assisted living places to find good sales associates. Care givers are hard to find.

This is a great place to live. Everyone is friendly. The food is wonderful and all the staff are wonderful to work with. I've had wonderful experiences during my short stay so far. There is a full kitchen in the apartment. There is housekeeping that is provided once a week that is included once a week.

That is has been a good experience so far
