99% of the staff was great. There are always a couple of people who shouldn't be working with the elderly. They need to have more choices for those in memory care. Mom needed a clean airy room with space to move around and her own bathroom/ shower. The open area was very nice. We were allowed to have family gatherings there also!

1 - 7 I rate a 5. Value for the money I'm not sure. I have made no comparisons with other homes. We are very pleased by the facility, the staff is very nice, the people living here have been very welcoming and inclusive to new residents. I'm very grateful for Hilltop Springs.

She had some dementia and didn't want to be there so her experience was not great. My aunt, who visited my mom daily, raved about Timber Creek. I had good experiences with them the little I interacted. I was in California and then was with my mom when she went into the hospital and went into hospice at my aunt's home. We had to deal with Timber Creek after that as well. Based on my Aunt's experience, and that she said she would like to go to Timber Creek when the time came, I would give a 5 across the board. I am grateful Timber Creek was there to care for my mom so well. My impression was that it was the nicest assisted living place in Fairbanks while still being affordable. It's quite new. and is on the smaller side so it has a family feel to it. The rooms can be small. It's nice that you can have a pet if you can take care of it. They were looking at adding on a memory care wing. I also remembered my aunt raving about the activities. They even had the symphony come to play.

I was invited to tour Hilltop Springs, & let me tell you, the residential rooms are gorgeous, inviting, and comfortable. But that was only the beginning. Just steps away from what residents call home, awaits an impressive movie theater, a wonderful indoor pool, including hot-tub, a top notch game room with two bowling allies, (you heard right, I said bowling —whoo hoo.) Card tables and chairs also were present, plus A fabulous pool table that kept calling my name. Standing close to the kitchen awarded me mouth-watering scents while viewing the decorative and spacious dining room, which triggered my half heartedly joking about a chocolate milk shake. Well, to my delighted surprise, I was offered one to take out to the patio for that portion of the tour. Out doors the grounds are immaculate, and the furnishings of chairs and tables definitely evokes eye appeal, in fact, their interior decorator is a genius. All the arranged furniture is grand. I’d be blessed to call Hilltop my home.

This is the ideal place for us at Sunnycrest! A lively retirement community with the most gracious staff and food for any taste, living here feels like home after just a month!

The staff at Heron Pointe are very resident focused. They are friendly & focused on good service.

My mom had complained that some of her daily service requests have been slow to respond, but she's feeling well enough to complain now :) My sister, who did the initial scouting trip, reported that "everyone there seemed really happy". Both residents and staff! She was impressed. Mom took to them right away for that reason. :)

price higher than average. Higher staff to resident ratio than other facilities. Room size was adequate, and they are very engaging in the Montessori method for activities.

I'd add a caveat. I believe the quality of care is top notch but it can be difficult to reach people. For people who live far away from their parents this can present challenges. It's a really warm environment and the staff seems engaged and thoughtful. The chef and activities does their best to provide time and space for residents to give input and are responsive too.

We were attracted to them because they had the same amount of residents but there was at least 7 to 9 people on the floor. I would recommend Mosaic for the simple fact that they are involved. They don't park your loved one in front of a TV and walk away. We have randomly walked in at all times of the day and there is interaction and activities, keeping the individual in memory care, engaged, and stimulated.

We went through two other memory care facilities before a place for Mom helped us find Mosaic Gardens. They are absolutely amazing. There are numerous staff on hand at all times and they check in on my dad several times daily. They make sure that he gets out of his room and doesn’t just sit there by himself. He is getting excellent care there! The staff actually take the time to get to know him And treat him with kindness and compassion. They are amazing!

The caregivers and personnel are warm,friendly and really do care. It feels like family The facility is lovely and open. One thing that we really liked is that all of the rooms in memory care open to a great room living space instead of closed off corridors The food is good and the care staff wonderful The activities director is out of this world great! Even the main reception staff is lovely

In looking for a location for a loved one with dementia Mosaic Gardens checked off all of my " boxes". Light and airy,with activities to help occupy a mind. A good staff-to-resident ratio. Lots of other residents to interact with for increased stimulation.

As soon as I walk in, I knew I was home. The only drawback for me was my rent. And then my health. For a single person or perhaps a couple, the apartment sizes would be adequate. Parking would be a major asset.

My 100 year old mother moved into Heron Pointe in early 2024 - it has been a good experience from the beginning. Their staff are so kind & thoughtful. Their assisted living services have made Mom’s daily experience with her age challenges so much better. Her neighbors are friendly & supportive. The facility is comfortable and well taken care of. We highly recommend Heron Pointe.
