Colonial Gardens is one of the better facilities in the Columbia area. The place is always clean and the staff is always very helpful and accommodating. The young man, [Name Removed] who does activities with the residents is one of the best I have seen. He shows genuine compassion and interest in the residents and seems to love his role.

Our loved one has received wonderful care at this facility. Staff was so helpful in guiding us through the initial admissions process. The staff has done their best to treat our family member lovingly with prompt attention as needed. McArthur Manor has a family-like atmosphere with fun activities and employees that truly care about the residents. The lead nurse (Nursing Department) is always available to answer any questions and help with health concerns. If she is busy, she is prompt to return your phone calls. We feel secure our family member is receiving excellent care. We highly recommend McArthur Manor! David & Yvonne

This is an amazing facility . Not only were everyone we talked to extremely nice but their knowledge of the best way to introduce assisted living to my father was very helpful . We feel we made the right decision in choosing Mcarthur Manor . It was also spotless , there were no areas that were not kept very clean . [Names Removed] will help you thru this time in your parents life ; I can promise she will help any way she can .

They are passionate, professional and very attuned to the residents needs and issues. They keep in contact with us when there is an issue or incident then keep us abreast of resolution. They are all AWESOME!!!!! Oh yeah, Pop says the food is delicious!!!!

This is a very charming, small facility. Residents were welcoming, and the staff was very accommodating and informative.

Over the experience was great when I got to bring mom. The facility is always nice and clean. Some staff members are amazing some need to figure out their career. The care is great. Just the different levels are high. The food is very salty and not much given at dinner always hungry after. Always busy. The place is very expensive.

This was a really nice facility. The tour guide was very informative and was willing to work within our budget the best she could. This is a place I would consider putting my mother. It was clean and the staff and the residents we spoke with were all very nice.

I have visited a resident here several times and it always smells fresh and clean--this is the thing I notice the most. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and greets me every time I walk by. The residents seem to be happy and there is always an activity of some kind happening with lots of residents participating and engaging. Overall I think this is a great place.

My grandmother lived at Deerfield Ridge for 3.5 years until her passing last week. I’ll never be able to put into words my gratitude for this facility, the staff and the residents. It became my grandmother’s second family. They took amazing care of her and loved her like their own. She thoroughly enjoyed the activities provided on almost a daily basis. The facility is very clean and maintained and the food is very good. Don’t hesitate to place a loved one at Deerfield Ridge!

The staff was very receptive and provided. Thorough and detailed virtual tour. They also answered all of our questions.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The new resident is already feeling and sounding better than prior to the move in. Clean and room size adequate. Resident complains of lack of flavor in food but she understands that other residents may have diet restrictions.

Great friendly staff well informed as to my brothers needs and care. The facility was clean and well maintained as were the grounds including the interior courtyard. The hallways are well lit and spacious allowing room for 2 wheel chairs to pass easily and room doors well lit and clearly marked and inset at least a foot into the wall for a proper entrance to the apartment ?? The main living area is well appointed as is the dining room. The kitchen is truly well designed and would work well in any commercial restaurant kitchen . The courtyard porch nicely appointed for residences to sit outside in most weather.

I would give a 5 to the people who interact daily with the residents. I would give a 2 to the management because of their daily inconsistencies regarding interaction with hospitals and patients' family members. I would be more than happy to give examples. My husband was there briefly and was very happy with the staff in memory care. Re admin keep asking and checking on everything they say because they don't follow thru. Also watch the money flow. The hospital could never get get them to answer questions, or the phone or return calls. There was so much more but it makes me angry..

Welcoming environment and staff. A great place for Mom to live and your piece of mind that she is being taken care of.

As soon as I walked into Langston Square, I knew it was the place for my mama. [name removed] greeted me & explained the layout of the facility. She introduced the staff as family members as we passed in the hallways. [name removed] was instrumental in the final decision to have my mama move to Langston Square.

We are very pleased with Langston Square for my grandma. After being in a different facility, the team and staff at Langston have truly been a breath of fresh air. They are attentive and compassionate, and they have been able to meet all of my grandma’s needs while enhancing her overall quality of life. With her age-related health issues and a recent cancer diagnosis, it means so much that she has a comfortable space of her own, surrounded by familiar items from home. Langston Square has been a wonderful fit for her, and we are grateful for the care and support she receives there.

1. RN on site and on call. 2. Levels of care so Mpm can transition there and not have to move. 3. Numerous activities offered to patients 4. Doctors who come there and see/care for Mom. Highly recommend!!

I had lots of questions. The staff were very prompt and thorough in answering questions and addressing concerns I had before move-in. The staff are friendly and engaged with residents. My husband is always clean shaven and well bathed. He seems to be content there and made an easy transition from home.
