Spring Oak Senior Living

Spring Oaks has been great for my mom. They take care of her, and she always has something to do throughout the day. She is surrounded by lots of people.

Spring Oak of Toms River was wonderful with my husband in every way imaginable. I never worried about his care or emotional well being when I wasn't there. Sadly, my husband recently passed The staff, in Memory Care, treated my husband with respect and concern during his stay. I visited many places but this particular facility was top notch and extremely affordable for NJ!

My Dad has advanced Dementia and recently moved on to the Memory Care floor and the entire Spring Oak staff have been AMAZING! Their patience and dedication to helping my Dad through difficult times is all I need to know he is safe and being well taken care of. I highly recommend Spring Oak.

So far, 5 for all categories, although I've never placed a parent in assisted living before, so I don't have anything to compare against. Staff is friendly when I've visited. They communicate well by phone as needed. The place has a positive feel to it. Amenities offered in memory care are fine, although my father and other residents use only limited amenities due to their condition. Room is sufficient, and he spends a good deal of time in the common area.

We would have to give Spring Oaks a 5 for everything. I would highly recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones. They were very attentive and pleasant. No complaints at all.

So happy with spring oak. Such caring people. A very clean facility that takes pride in all they do. A well trained staff that’s demonstrates so much compassion. I’m very happy with my decision for my dad’s care.

I am very pleased with Spring Oak at Petersburg, overall. It has taken my dad a while to get settled, but now he is. It is very nice to know that he is safe and taken care of. I would recommend this facility to others.

Our experience from sales to move in to day to day care for dad has been very good. [name removed] from sales was great in showing us Spring Oak and how it operates. [name removed] one of the aides from the memory care floor is very special. Dad likes her and how she takes care of him.

The staff is friendly. There are always activities going on so there is always something to do. Dad would like to see more options on the menu. The studio apartment is the perfect size for dad.

I would highly recommend Spring Oak Assisted Living facility. I chose Spring Oak because of the location, the charm of the historical building, & the affordable price. I was very pleased with the staff I met on my tour of the facility. The residents were friendly. They were clean & appeared well taken care of. The team at Spring Oak is the best! They always take time to answer questions, listen to concerns and reassure me when I have concerns. Having both parents at Spring Oak can be very difficult, but hearing "We've got this" and "It will be okay" really helps during the hard times. I couldn't do this without your help! Thank you for being there!

Spring Oak of Toms River is a great place for respite care. As far as the food goes, I think they need more choices available to the residents and it needs to be served warm.

Very helpful staff and informative. It would be nice to see more employees on staff. They do seem to be stretched thin. Not sure that there are many activities going on in the memory care unit. This is just what I have observed from visits we have made.

I picked this community because it's very close to my house, and I can drop over anytime of day. It's very friendly people that work there.

My sister was a resident at Spring Oak of Toms River for 13 months. She was happy with the accommodations except for the poor internet connection. She was frequently knocked off the Wi-Fi and internet. It frustrated her since she communicated via various computer/iPad apps and social media.

The staff at Spring Oak of Toms River go above and beyond. They will always respond very quickly to my emails. I don't get updates unless I reach out. The housekeeping is good. However, it is an older building, so some areas look a little run down. I know the meals are well balanced, but my loved one doesn't like the food. I would take that with a grain of salt, though. I would absolutely recommend this facility to friends and family.

Our family had an in person tour with the Carolina Gardens at York and we thought it was a great tour experience, but the room they showed us was just a little to small, and another community was closer to our loved ones church and friends. However this was our top second choice.

Everyone is friendly and helpful. For the food, I do think that they could maybe have a few more choices for the residents to choose from each day. I would absolutely recommend Spring Oak of Toms River.
