Swanhaven exceeded all expectations. The staff's dedication to the resident's happiness was evident in every interaction we saw. The landscaping is beautiful and the communal spaces were buzzing with lively conversation and shared laughter. The focus on fostering a sense of belonging truly made this retirement community stand out, making it a haven for those seeking a vibrant and fulfilling lifestyle in their later years.

My brother loves Grandhaven Manor and that has been the best! What our families likes the most about the community is the different activities they have for the residents, the meals that are prepared and meeting new people. That has been fantastic. We would recommend this community to other families.

Everything she needed in one place. Everyone is very friendly! Trips are planned. Parties, movie nights. Bus trips to different places to shop. Mondays are bank day. Everyone gets to go to their bank. Tuesday is grocery shopping day & lunch. Most days are going somewhere if you don't drive.

I think it's a warm contemporary living space with fun apartments located, and a great part of Ferndale. I think it's a great fit for someone who's open minded about living an active life.I can tell you that my dad's not necessarily an active guy but I can see that there's lots of people that are there that wanna be.

If we could give the friendliness of the staff members more we would! When it comes to the meals - they do a daily diner run for those who want it. There are always different activities going on for the residents. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend Westhaven Manor to other families.

The nurses with ability plus have been very caring. It's been a good experience but they may need more care than possible. My father in law is currently in Wellbridge but we'll know more in a couple of weeks what the next step will be

The move to Swanhaven was the best thing I did for myself. The staff are friendly, the residents welcoming, the activities many. I've made many new friends and definitely recommend living here!

The dinning Rooms at Park at Franklin were nice! Outstanding.

I'm currently a resident at Elmhaven Manor. I like it here so far and my apartment is very nice. This facility is a retirement community. They do have housekeeping. What they do not have, if you need it, is constant care. They do have a way of checking on people who may be fall risks. There are help/call pull cords in almost every room. They have multiple activities so you can participate in what you want. The meals are once a day are good and they will deliver to your room. The cost is $13.50. You buy tickets to use for each meal and don't have to eat. Use them when you want. They do control amounts that you receive. The meals are a little high on starch and sugar content. This is a very good facility I would recommend it as long as you are mobile and fairly independent. Most of the residents are over 65 and some have been here as long as 15 years. This facility is not cheap, but in pace with other facilities in this area.

I'm currently a resident at Elmhaven Manor. The cleanliness at this facility is great. The staff are wonderful. I have not attended any activities because I feel that a lot of the residents at this facility aren't friendly. Also, the resident community is not culturally diverse at this facility.

Our family had an in person tour with Oakhaven Manor and we felt the staff members did a great job with the overall tour experience and made our decision for our loved one a difficult one

Everything has been a great experience so far except for the overall value for cost - the rent here is just to high. However the residents here and staff members are all very friendly and kind and I would recommend the Grandhaven Manor to other families looking for a place for their loved ones

The STAFF at Westhaven Manor are very caring, dedicated, helpful, nice, and supportive. And the residents are very friendly, helpful, and kind as well.

We've all heard it.... 1st impressions, are lasting impressions. A few days ago I had a tour of GrandHaven Maner 11 , with the expectation of becoming a resident. [name removed] handled my application and also gave me The Grand tour. [name removed] was very professional, yet made me feel like I was family The residents seemed very friendly. They all had smiles on their faces and they spoke to Paige as we walked through the hallways. The building and grounds were very clean and well maintenance. The atmosphere was pleasing to the eye. Though I am on the waiting list, I'm looking forward To my 55th birthday and becoming a resident here at GrandHaven Manor 11.

ElmHaven Manor is not assisted living, so if you or your family need that, look elsewhere. But ElmHaven is an exceptional place for retirees. We have a great activity director, and there is always something going on.

Westhaven Manor is a great place if you have enough money to live here. I get along well with the staff and view them as friends. The apartment is fine. It's just too expensive.

The staff was friendly and sincerely interested in the well-being of their residents. I appreciated how they worked together with the family as a team. The appearance and cleanliness of the building definitely captured my attention. It was very peaceful.

My sister [name removed] has been at Swan Haven for about 3 months now. She is a changed person in so many wonderful ways! With the stresses of home ownership gone, Swan Haven has been perfect! [name removed] has made countless friends with like interests as well as partaking in a number of in house and out community activities. She so appreciates the transportation available as weather and traffic congestion is a real stressor for her. Lastly, [name removed]appreciates the cleanliness and feel of safe and secure in Swan Haven. Staff are caring, knowledgeable and available. Relocating to a new city has been made easier with the experienced staff of Swan Haven. I am so pleased with the progress that sister [name removed] has made for her comfort and sense of calm. None of this would have been possible without the support and assistance of A Place For Mom! The organization has my respect for offering such a valuable service and resource for the Senior population. Thank you for all you provide for this generation of givers.

The James Ferndale was a wonderful place. I rate them 5 on everything. Everyone was so friendly and being able to get a haircut done there was a bonus since I was not able to get her out of here place before she passed away.
