Vi Living

Our experience with Vi at La Jolla Village was 5-Star from the start, really. The sales team initially gave us a leisurely tour and answered all our questions. After that, we met with residents who have common interests or situations to our own, which really helped us evaluate whether the community would be a good fit for us. (It absolutely is!) The facilities are really beautiful - fresh and clean, well-maintained, with many recent renovations. We had meals in all of the 4 dining venues and the food is excellent, with plenty of choices for me - a vegan - and for my husband - not a vegan! We attended a lecture, an exercise class, a movie in their theatre, a walking excursion, and conversations over meals with residents. Residents were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Plenty of folks in our age range (70’s) as well as older. We loved the vibe. Another BIG reason we think Vi can be our forever home now: It is a RARE Type A community where all levels of care are available.

Every person associated with the Vi has been gracious, welcoming and supportive in preparing us for moving to the community. The marketing staff has been exceptional. They are always been available to assist us and answer questions and to prepare us for our move. The construction and move-in staff have been equally wonderfuly in providing us with options and answers to questions. My wife and I recognize what a big step this is in our lives and the staff at the Vi have paved the way for a smooth transition. I would rate their performance six stars!!

I have only been here 3 months but this place is wonderful. The staff is so friendly and responsive. The residents are friendly and easy to meet. Activities for everyone. I was hesitant about moving but so glad I did!

Lovely amenities. Some of the buildings are dated……on the outside. Ability to completely remodel interiors.

The place is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff's concern is what stood out.

Everyone here has an over all knowledge of everything about this place. Whoever you go to will either help you or direct you to the right place. When you move in, they treat you like family and take care of everything you need.

The only complaint i have is the terrible moving experience with A Time to move - score 5 in all area Been here 51 weeks and truly heaven on earth in our villa - married couple- with 29 pound dog . Absolutely all staff are attentive -so kind and helpfull no matter " No silly questions here" Have only used transport on one occasion but have surely have reports of amazing services - - no longer fear having to decide on quitting driving when it becomes appropriate! We( [name removed] and myself [name removed] volunteered to participate in promo filming with local news station as we are so content now safely settled in . Our family members are so relieved and proud of us for not waiting untill " we needed pushing into somewhere!!! but researched and found our best fit before we TOLD them Two half years with trying stay cations !!!! [name removed] was top end of our financial ability but on first visit decided that we were sold just case of negotiating !! Even to my deal breaker of walk in bath installation We were first to have one !!! No regrets -just wish we had found it sooner. I have volunteered in Care center many times and consequently have full confidence in all the services available for any future needs So the buy in was the best option for medical coverage even though we had been paying extra medical insurances , we wish to stay independent as long as possible and the support services will enable just that !!

What I really like is it’s a high rise building. Just take the elevator to activities. Others were campus and to do activities you have to wait for a golf cart to take you. Not easy with walkers. Even worse with rain.

I have been an independent resident at the Vi La Jolla Village for two wonderful years and recently suffered a fall. While I have actively been participating in exercise, balance, and mind-body activities, I simply accidently fell. My experience from the moment I fell to the time I arrived at the hospital and then back to the Care Center for rehab was beyond exceptional. My 3 adult children all live in San Diego and they were so relieved to know that my Vi Community had all that I needed to start me on my journey to recovery. I can't give enough praise to the staff of the Care Center, from nurses, aides, housekeepers, food servers, physical and occupational therapists and everyone in between. They are now all a part of my Vi family. I'm so grateful and blessed to call the Vi my home.

For seniors seeking a relaxing and rewarding retirement, Vi at La Jolla Village is undoubtedly a wonderful community. You can sense the kind, inviting vibe that permeates the whole community as soon as you walk through the gates of this stunning CCRC. Every member of the team at Vi at La Jolla Village is kind and committed, going above and beyond to make sure each person is comfortable and well-cared for. This establishment provides an incredible array of amenities and services, like to those found at [removed]. These include a gorgeous outdoor pool and spa, a cutting-edge fitness facility, and several dining alternatives. However, what really makes Vi at La Jolla Village unique is the feeling of belonging and friendship that exists among the residents.

My dad had been at TidePointe since their inception - 27 years ago! He loved every minute! He enjoyed every single level of this wonderful CCRC. He and Mother started in their beautiful home which they built from the ground up. When my mother died, he moved to a beautiful apartment connected to the Club House. When it was necessary, he moved to Broad Creek Care Center, into Assisted Living, right down the hallway from the Club House. He continued enjoying activities at TP as well as activities at BCCC. After a hospital stay, he then enjoyed the incredible care in Skilled Nursing. When he was able he moved back to Assisted Living where he was treated like a king! He died last month, at age 102.5. He certainly made the most of his living in this incredible community! The Physical Therapy Program was amazing and tailored to all levels, Independent, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing. We have loved every step with him! Great food, fantastic staff and residents, lots of activities

My Mom was happily in independent living at Vi Lakeside for 15 years. When she had an incident that required transfer I realized how wonderful the continuum of care facility really was! Within 3 hours she was in skilled care. For 5 weeks she received care and improved, particularly due to the devoted, expert, kind attention from Arnie in Physical Therapy and Mike in Occupational Therapy. When she was accepted in Assisted Living they continued to work with her to help her adjust to her new surroundings. They have been amazing an my Mom loves their “hard workouts!” The staff all over Vi could not have been more helpful in easing the transitions and never rushing her moves. Highly recommend!

My mother-in-law moved to the Vi after her husband passed away. She began living in a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment and really enjoyed it. Over time she needed to move to the assisted living center and I’m the last few months of her life moved to the total care/nursing unit. She was so happy with the total environment at the Vi. As a family we also were happy with the care, the attention to detail for the residents and the facility. It’s pretty expensive but she could afford it so we were all extremely happy with her decision. We can’t say enough about the variety of things there: the various restaurant options, the library which we all loved, the activities etc. sadly she passed away recently but we are so grateful for all her care the last few days of her life.

i really like it here and i would recommend this community for anyone looking.

This community gets 5 stars all the way around. We were highly impressed right away, the staff are just amazing they go above and beyond and have great communication.

I have been a resident of Vi@ Silverstone for seven plus years; [date removed] The life style at this senior resort resembles sailing on a luxury cruise ship with daily excursions followed by cocktail parties and fine dining every eve. It is an active adult community with organized activities and social life with new best friends.

After an accidental fall and a brief stay in a hospital in July 2021, I was moved to the Care Center At Vi. Stayed there for 3 weeks. The entire staff was wonderful. Excellent nursing, excellent "spoiling" from the Aides, expert therapy from their therapy team of professionals, and the food was pretty good too! They were also very cautious in abiding by CDC rules, constantly cleaning and mopping, and providing me Covid tests like every 3 days. My private room accommodations were very well appointed (no, not luxury but it's not meant to be Mar-a-Lago), and everyone involved made every effort to insure I was well taken care of, including showering. Miss [name removed] in the hair salon did a very good job also. And, the place always smelled fresh, not what I was expecting. If you need a rehab center, this is it!

We chose Vi at Silverstone because there were a lot of people there from the neighborhood he came from so he knew people and also he really liked the atmosphere and the location that the facility is in. The apartment sizes are good and he does have a balcony with a beautiful view. They really went above and beyond with everything that they did with getting him into here. I would recommend them to others looking. The residents are super nice as well, we had dinner and 6 groups of people came up to talk to him, so a very welcoming environment.

Expensive, but well worth it to those who can afford it.

Every community has room for improvement and is continuously worked upon here at Vi. That is a huge plus for Vi. The employees and staff are genuine and truly care for the residents. Vi is a beautiful property. We live in a cottage and are so thrilled to enjoy all the amenities and still have full independence. We moved to Vi to be proactive in making sound retirement decisions. The Care Center was our focus and decision maker. The Care Center is the best in CO. We truly love all the residents at Vi like family. The staff deserve immense credit for keeping us all so active and involved with each other. The restaurant surpasses many of the best. We can not say enough about the quality of our community and the other residents. The sales team was sincere and most helpful in assisting us with our lifetime final investment. We have lived here 3 years now (2-2021) and love it more every day.
